It shattered any illusion that I'm funny.

The wonderful soundtrack, world and narrative brought me in by the hand. I didn't have the heart to let go.

my one gripe would be that at times it wasn't clear to me at the time that the game was trying to get me to use a specific mechanic during a couple segments, and as far as I'm aware [for some bosses] there isn't a checkpoint system for the more tedious bosses. The latter complaint should be more-so a difficulty option if it isn't already.

It isn't terribly long. I went for most if not all of the objectives that you could and that clocked in about 20+ hours. Just know that some events can't be completed until after certain points in the main plot.

I love this game man,
and I wish more people knew about it.

Forgot to leave a review back when I bought it.

It was both boring and bad.

Devoid of purpose.

Populated by loading screens, barren wastes, dead hub towns, flat characters and a lack of unique content.

It's a Bethesda game without the sandbox; which was the only thing going for Bethesda games.

Scorn is a game that from my experience tested my patience game-play wise... quite a few times. It's hard to say if the game really focuses on puzzles or combat when it kinda doesn't do either that much. If anything it's a game that's primarily a medium to experience a world without context and extrapolate meaning from.

Visually it has a strong art direction pulling heavy inspiration from the works of Giger, which is to say it's gross and horny. If you're into that or don't have a low tolerance for gross and horny you can probably appreciate it.

It's a pretty short experience that makes you rub more than two brain cells together.

I've run into a couple of bugs which made progression unclear, but nothing that'll actually halt it.

In short... If you think the art is cool and you spend much of your time overthinking the details of a mediums themes then this'll be at the very least a unique experience.

I can guarantee that this is a video game...
that's about it...

Though it's no substitute for real solidarity or community organization.

Game's pretty fun and offers a few unique challenges.
the endless horde mode isn't too bad either.
