Incredibly immersive. The devs were aiming for authenticity and they hit the nail on the head. At the moment it's a little lacking in content with only 4 playable missions. But the layout, enemies, buildings and events are randomly generated. The random generation keeps each mission somewhat fresh, but we will need more missions, and variations of missions very soon. I'm sure the devs are already hard at work on that judging by the roadmap.

I'm on a laptop. 2070 Super, I9 10850k, 32GB DDR4, Windows 11, latest drivers. Game should definitely run better, but i can maintain about 50-60fps on high settings in most situations I've been in so far. At the very beginning of the game I was getting 40-45 ish and it would sometimes drop into the 30s. Very much still playable, for me at least. So far a good sequel to the original. Lightsaber go "fwoosh"

Performance can definitely improve but it runs fin enough for me. 40-50 fps on kerbin on high settings and 70-90 in space (2070 super, I910850K, 32gb ram, on a laptop). Not much content at the moment, but lets remember that KSP is a sandbox at heart. I don't mind just building rockets, making them work, and doing my own challenges. Good job to the dev team and I look forward to the future of KSP 2.

KSP is inspirational imo. If you have any kindling of an interest in space or anything related i can not recommend Kerbal Space Program enough. This will re-awaken your childhood dream of being an Astronaut.

Can for sure recommend after 4.21. Performance has been boosted dramatically, and it brought back a good chunk of the player base plus some. Overall it has a high level of realism, and communication is key. When you get a game where everyone is communicating properly on both teams, its a helluva time. If you liked Squad you'll like this and vis versa.

If you don't wanna spend a bunch of money on the DCS modules, then this is a great alternative. It is a great simulator in general tbh, it is more than a back-up because you can't run DCS or don't have the money for modules. This was what i heard was one of the best simulators and still is. I would have to agree with those who say that. I said this was a great alternative to DCS because you can mod this to have many more planes than DCS and planes like what DCS has. F-18s MIG-21s and many many more. It has mostly, any plane from any era you could want from a flight simulator. Your gonna want the BAT mod for all of that, which is completley free, IL-2 1946 is fairly cheap as well so your basically getting mostly everything that DCS offers for $10. you're gonna want a joystick though. I can't reccommend this enough, go buy it and mod it.
