I've played the telltale walking dead games so many times. I think this is my 5th or 6th time playing the 2nd one. These games are a perfect "flawed" masterpiece (Season 1 & 2 anyways)

I will never get bored of replaying these games. Not a single other game can give off the vibe like the walking dead telltale games. It's in it's own realm. You'd think after playing a game so much the emotions stop but every time it gets me man.

Pewdiepie said it best, the major flaw of these games, is everyone dies. Season 2 is the prime example. It should be called The Walking Dead Season 2: Dropping Like flies. Death in these type of games are a given and should be expected but I feel like this is why the 3rd game and 4th game don't live up to 1 and 2. Nobody is around, there's no memorable characters besides Clem. They should have kept a few or even just one. If I had to choose, Luke should have not been killed. Luke was the Lee of this game just not as "good". This time around though, something made me choose a different option. I usually ALWAYS kill Jane at the end and go with Kenny, but this playthrough. Man just let the dude die. Kenny is on edge with everybody, more ♥♥♥♥ just makes him fall into the rabbit hole of guilt and anger. I had to kill Kenny at the end. It just felt right this time. Jane is such a piece of ♥♥♥♥ for pulling the move at the end and it's one of those moments I go "♥♥♥♥ not this part" because I hate how she tries to manipulate Clementine in that way. A lot of people hate Jane, but I've always thought she was a good and likeable character. That being said, there is just so much I hate and love about this game and I can't write about it all, it's why I call it a perfect flawed masterpiece.

I love this series. Gameplay is fun and addicting, story is really nice for what it is, OST is amazing, characters are super likeable and the voice actors give them so much personality. The crafting system, I can literally sit there for hours just doing it. It's that engaging. Absolutely love these games. Love them so much I have 100% all 3 of them on console and i'm re 100%ing them on PC.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually liked this game more than Automata in almost every aspect. Not that it means much, it's like saying you prefer a double patty burger than a singular one but Replicant is amazing. 10/10 story, these games have easily the best story telling out of every single game I've played.

This game is amazing, the story part is kinda mehh but the gameplay part, an easy 11/10. Absolutely addicting and fun all around, but god the end game is grindy asf. Went for all the achievements because I was having a blast but proto bahamut is kicking my a$$ and each boss gets harder and harder, constant one shots near the end of the fight so it gets pretty irritating after a bit. I'd honestly love this game if the servers still had players because that would be a ton of fun and make stuff easier but every mission/quick quest I tried to do an open search, there was never any sessions. Overall a 8/10 game. It would be a 9/10 or 10/10 if the story was as good as the gameplay.

I'm actually changing this to a negative review until they fix the servers. Everything about the game is great, but the servers are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful it makes me want to pull my hair out. I want to play multiplayer, bugs out. Okay, I want to play co op operations, it works. Next day, I get on, do the same thing, operations now doesn't work. I decide to play single player operations because they added that, It takes 10+ mins in a black screen to load into the misison. 30mins into the mission, server disconnected, resulting in that 30mins of progress, vanishing. Kicks me out and I can't get back into my mission. Okay let's play multiplayer again, it works. Next day, it doesn't. Back to the black screen loading in operations. I'm waiting over 15mins+, it still isn't loading. I reset my game, decide to do co op operations so it hopefully works, it works. People in that session leave, so I leave to get a new session. 3 times in a row with 3 different squads, infinite black screens. Host disconnects. The list goes on and on. They really need to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fix this ♥♥♥♥ man.

if you legit search it up, it says you can play free until level 70 yet I can't even log in when I've purchased the game on steam. I've wanted to go back to this and play it, but I'm simply not paying $20 a month just to play it when it literally says you can play free til level 70. I've looked it up to try and log in so y'know, I can actually play the game but nothing works. Screw this game

Easily one of the best game's of all time. Played it first a couple years ago on playstation, but I mainly played due it to be having an "easy" 100%. I did enjoy it when I first played it, but i skipped almost every side quest in the game and was just bee lining it to the end. Fortunately I had the urge to replay it, but decided to simply take my time with it and do all the side quests etc. I loved it way more than my first time playing.

Gameplay is fun, nothing special, but fun.

Characters are unforgettable.

OST, nothing really has to be said, pure masterpiece.

The overall world matches the vibe of the game. Some call it "empty", but did they even play the game lol

But the story is why I love it. It's ambiguous, gives you depression while simultaneously curing it. Those are the type of games, that feel like they are more than just a game. The final 3rd of the game is amazing. Solid 10/10.

And another bonus is, both English and Japanese voices give the same experience. I usually stick with Japanese voices because personally, I never feel like the English voice actors give off the same feeling, but my first playthrough was in English and my 2nd was in Japanese. (The subtitles are a bit delayed from the starting point of the voices I noticed though)

(Only "bad" thing I can say about this game, is it forces the player to replay the same game, essentially twice.) I enjoyed how it was done, but from an objective standpoint, I can see why players that don't care enough about the game, drop it after beating the first campaign. I think it would've been perfect if instead of splitting up 9S/2B's perspective, they could've done it in the same way the final act is done. Where at certain points it gives you an option to continue playing as 9S or A2, but obviously in this case, out of 2B or 9S. It would just be a quality of life experience that drastically improves the motivation to continue playing the "same story".

Nonetheless, a 10/10 god tier game
