Finished the Apex singleplayer campaign today! Much happier ending than the previous ARMA campaign lol.

Back in action with ARMA III! Blasted through the "Apex Protocol" singleplayer campaign mission in Tanoa. I only died twice, and cleared the entire island!!! This mission was next to impossible for me back in summer, so I think I am definitely getting better. WOO HOO!!!

This evening is nothing short of momentous. I FINISHED ARMA III's SINGLEPLAYER CAMPAGIN!!!

Tonight, I finished the "Adapt" part of the ARMA III Campaign. NATO forces have returned to Altis and Stratis! YAY!!!

Finally made it through the "Bingo Fuel" mission in the ARMA III campaign!!!

Had some hair-raising dogfights tonight in Cliffs of Dover. The highlight of the night was an intense 5-6 minute engagement with a competent Spitfire pilot where I actually held my own (i.e. didn't get shot :P ) until I blew my water radiator. Ah well, lol.

Tonight, I subscribed to a user-made mission for Arma III. It was called "On the Other Side." It was challenging enough to be enjoyable but not impossible to accomplish. Very entertaining! :)

Got through the Supports and Vehicles showcases today! I never even got shot at in the Supports showcase, which is encouraging to me. A few months ago, I couldn't even complete the Supports showcase!

Had a very eventful 2 nights in Arma. Got through the Night, Marksmen (again), and End Game showcases!

Started learning the ropes of CloD with my squadmates tonight! Got onto the ATAG server and practiced taking off and flying in the Bf 109 E-1. Also tried landing, but since I accidentally had my wheel brakes on 100%, as soon as my wheels touched the ground, I pulled a reverse wheelie and my pilot was forcibly thrown through the front windshield, where he proceeded to do an admirable imitation of "the man who though he was a bird" until he impacted the ground. (Ok...I made the last part up. I have an active imagination lol.) HUGE thanks to my squadmates. I learned more tonight with them than I have in several weeks of trying on my own!

EDIT to my previous post: I'm sure that the folks at Gajin put a HUGE amount of time and effort into War Thunder. Honestly, it shows. What they do, they do really well. It's just not my style. If any readers like the fast-action arcade shooters, by all means, have a go at War Thunder! Gajin did a great job on it. It's just not for me. ;)

Just tried out War Thunder tonight. I have decided that I am NOT a fan. :P Graphics are beautiful, but the dogfights stink. To be honest, I'm sure there are blokes who have invested hours into WT who would tell me otherwise. But, I've decided that WT isn't my style...too "arcadey." Back to learning Cliffs of Dover. :)

Got through the supply convoy ambush mission tonight! :D

After the Apex update, my standard Arma 3 campaign lost my progress on a couple missions. Tonight I redid them and am now where I left off before...ambushing the supply convoy. I am better-armed though. I have a rocket launcher this time! Also, I've set up VoiceAttack to command my AI squadmates.

Tried out Cliffs of Dover today! Looks like this one has a huge learning curve too. I think I'll take it a bit at a time. ;)

Got back on Rise of Flight with my JG1 squadmates today. Surprisingly, my internet cooperated beautfully. Aside from a little packet loss over TeamSpeak, no lag or discos!

Had a great time with my squadmates, bashing around in Nieuport 28s and Albatros D.Vas. Got to fly with some pilots I hadn't had the opportunity to fly with before. All in all, it was a great night!

Today is a momentous day for me. I finally beat the Scuba showcase! XD

Tonight, I finished mission 3# in the Tanoa campaign. Aside from having to respawn on account of encountering a man-eating rock (game glitch) I had one of my best missions ever! Really loving the respawn system in this new campaign.

Just purchased Arma III Apex this morning. Gotta say it's super-cool! I've already made it through the first campaign mission. :)

Got back into Arma III tonight. After spending some time programming squad commands with VoiceAttack, I tried out the "Commanding" showcase. First couple times were a dismal failure, but I finally got the hang of it and held the village. Yay! :D

Busy writing a guide for Rise of Flight on Steam. Hopefully will be done with it before long. ;)

Made it through the first mission in Adapt! Also got through the next mission! However, the 3rd mission is a doozy. I need to command men to set up an ambush. Never been placed in command before, so you can imagine how good I am with that...

Finished the "Survive" campaign. Now starting "Adapt." Can't seem to avoid the enemy patrols yet and all I have are 1 puny pistol with 16 shots... Not easy by any way shape or form. Oh well. Will keep at it. :)

Got through the Marksman showcase today! Great feeling that. :D

Doing better now. Have had some measured success in the Marksmen showcase & finally got through the infantry showcase. Can't get through the Scuba showcase yet though. Will keep at it.

Seems I have a lot to learn in Arma 3. Can't even see the enemies before they pick me off. Ah well. Will probably take me a while to get good at it. I actually like that...it means the game has lots of depth/replay value.
