It was such a good game that felt like I was watching a new GOTG movie. After finishing the game you're gonna feel what a person feels when they leave the cinema after watching a really good movie. Because beside being good game it's a cinematic art too. The visuals, graphics, dialogues, facial expression, story and MUSIC all those are gonna make you feel like you're watching a movie.

The only problem was this game has an optimization issue. Even though my pc system was much more than this game requires but there were sudden frame rate drops. But that's not enough to ruin your day.

At first I gave this game "not recommended" because of a ridiculous bug that wouldn't let me in boss area and I said I wouldn't change my review until I find what causes this bug. Bug was fixed itself after reinstalling the game several times. Anyway here's my honest review after freshly finishing the game.

The things that I didn't like in game:
- camera work : it's really annoying, especially when you fight more than one enemies while you locked in one. When you try to dodge while you locked in an enemy the camera focuses somewhere else except the enemy then starts slowly focusing on enemy again. Can't explain how many times I died because of it.
- map design: it sometimes can be annoying as well. I mean it's really hard to dodge enemies on a narrow path with open edge where you can fall down and die.
- unfinished story: guess they'll finished the game in The Surge 2
- combat system isn't great but it's simple block dodge and attack. And it's shame that it doesn't have parry.

Things that I liked most:
- the game doesn't have map or narrator. You have to find the way on your own. Maps are usually loops all you have to do is to find shortcuts. It's not really hard.
- looting. I really enjoyed cutting armors from enemies and using them for myself.
- some gears and weapons look really cool.
- the visuals and optimization are on point.

Anyway, it's a decent game if you like souls-like games. If you don't then this game is not good for your sanity

The possibility of surviving a room full of poisonous snakes is higher than staying alive in this game

I understand everyone's frustration with this game because people were told it'd be Left 4 Dead 3. As a person who has played L4D2 for more than 3k hours I wish this game was part of L4D universe. Although the game has better graphics than L4D but its physic is not comparable to L4D. I'd like to see the infected's heads blow up, their arms and legs tear off when you shoot them. And I wish the infected weren't like they were made of play dough. But at the end of the day, it's a decent Co-op game to play with friends. It has better weapons that you can customize or upgrade them with accessories. I also liked the idea to have different card build for each weapon class. It makes game more challenging.

P.S whoever made that Rick Roll profile banner is a genius.

I normally play those games for relaxing but this game is F**KING STRESSFUL. Every time when I fail, I feel like Gordon Ramsay watching me with the disappointment in his eyes

Extremely underrated game. The graphics are amazing for the year the game was made in. I just can't help myself with capturing screenshots in every inch of the map and thanks to the developers for putting Capture Mode. Beside these the game has also good story and I especially liked getting in a battle with convoy. The only thing I can complain about is scavenging some camps. I mean the game makes me drive for miles to loot a camp but there's only one damn scrap to loot. So I think it's just waste of time to scavenge those camps

Early Access Review
The game might be scary if it's your first time playing it but after a while you can be the person who bullies the ghost. So it's a cool Co-op game to spend time with friends. And I appreciate the developers are still trying to add new stuff to make it more fun.
