Vanilla this game rocks, but I can't recommend playing this game through R2ModMan enough.
The mods are great with character reskins and entirely new characters being added straight into the base roster, to also having mods that increase the achievable speed and rework the momentum system.
This game truly is the spiritual successor to Jet Set Radio, stunning unique art style, you have the 'God Of Funk' -Hideki Naganuma himself making lots of tracks in this, not to mention the vast array of badazz graffiti you can collect and spray. Seriously if you like skater games, get this game.

Early Access Review
There's.... alot of issues, that require me to not recommend this game.
CONS:
1: Too many enemies can start to exponentially affect your frames, you can't ADS when Night vision is on.
2: THERE IS NO LOADOUT SYSTEM, you lose everything upon death and cannot pick up dropped equipment, you have to find new equipment (why!?).
3: While there are listed objectives, it feels like there's nigh absent direction in the way of completing said objectives.
4: When customizing a weapon at the bench, it's possible for players to stand in front your weapon preventing you from seeing any attachments you're adding which can be an actual problem when selecting your optics. I'm lucky that I know that my favorite is the OKP otherwise I would have had to constantly wait for everyone else to finish with the bench before adding my optics.
5: THERE IS NO VOICE CHAT.... HOW? How can you make a CO-OP, TEAM BASED game and not put in a voice chat?
6: Right up near the end of my play session I started having desync issues which in a game where a single accidental shot to the back of the head can strip you of all your gear is a HUGE problem.
7: In the recent update they added a prefire delay to various weapons... why? It's unnecessary and can really get you killed when the need to shoot first is life or death. The night vision is cool but only IR lasers are visible with them active which doesn't make much sense.
8: While the option to have 8 players is nice I feel you should be able to filter your match search between 4 or 8 player slots, there were numerous times where 8 people just seemed like too many.
9: the ambient sfx and music leave something to be desired as I was constantly tempted to just pull up game OSTs on Youtube.
10: The flashlights are a little too weak and are angled uselessly down. They need to be pointing forward, unobstructed by your arm/gun, and they need to have a reasonable range of illumination.
PROS:
1: I Like the weapon's check function (Full mag press R inspect weapon like KF2, hold R to check current mags approximate ammo.)
2: The animations look great, they're smoothe, and realistic, I like that you're not just fighting zombies but that you're sometimes fighting security, adds some nice variation. (Could still do with some more dynamic enemies other than zombies or shooters.)
3: All weapons including pistols are capable weapons if you make your shots count.
4: Its easy to tell your team and hostile security apart.
5: Its not constant action, there's downtime which is good for creating a more realistic setting especially given what the facility was originally for. It wasn't just holding hordes of zombies. (Which is why I think a bit more enemy variation would go a LONG way).
6: The ammo count is very good, not an infinite supply, but you're also not guaranteed to run out before you find more weapons if you pick your shots.
7: The realism of hearing varying degrees of volume AND muffle on gunshots elsewhere in the facility is awesome and not something I see a lot of.
-SUGGESTIONS-
1: GET A LOADOUT SYSTEM! You play as the FBI, no sane agent would go into an SCP facility that was known to have had its containment breached without gearing up with more than a pistol BEFORE ENTRY. That's just plain silly.
2: Allow voice chat. There are many times that to be efficient your team has to split up, real-time communication during these moments is CRUCIAL. Text chat simply isn't enough.
3: You don't need some crazy overdone violin stingers for a soundtrack but its far to quiet, you could even just make the "soundtrack" ambient noises heard throughout the facility. (i.e. distant gunshots supposedly from the security department, screaming monsters, a buggy PA system that intermittently reads off a repeating evac/lockdown order.)
4: When I mention objective direction, I don't mean I want some intrusive, flashy nav marker, but there needs to be some way to know what door leads to what, and a general location to search for the code/documents/breaker.
5: I think you'd be surprised how bad the workbench camera is, it sounds like a small thing but it really is an issue.
6: I get that the flashlight is supposed to be attached you your character's chest rig but, its a simple case of form over function, I think most people would like a slightly stronger flashlight that doesn't shake and get blocked by your arm while sprinting.
7: If you're going for realism, there ARE laser attachments that can fit an MP5SD, just a thought.

DO NOT, listen to the people losing it over "dropped frames" or ""stuttering". I have a very average rig and it runs just fine. From what I've seen the only people having problems are the ones trying to play it with mouse and keyboard, which I can't even understand why you'd want to play a souls-like with M&K. This game kicks ass! I WILL say this tho, the game DEFINITELY doesn't like being tabbed out of, I HIGHLY suggest playing in borderless windowed mode and NOT fullscreen, almost every time I've tabbed out of fullscreen mode my PC has crashed I dunno what the issue is but it's a simple problem to work around, hardly a deterrent to playing the game.

This is kinda difficult to explain. In short: Migrating = NO; First time = YES.
If you're migrating from XB1 to PC or vice versa, I can't recommend this, because you'll have to leave behind all progress and weapons and money spent on XB.
Nothing is transferable.
If you're getting this for the first time, The game is a blast, you can only play 4-player co-op but connectivity is usually pretty good.
The game looks stunning, runs smoothly, and the combat is great.
Obtaining cosmetics and weapons is weird though. Unless you spend money, any new weapons/armor you get are temporary and timed (whether you're on or not).
Kredits are decently priced, but if you find yourself wanting alot of different stuff, you'll find yourself getting nickle and dimed.
There ARE login bonuses that don't feel like they're there for a placebo effect so good on them for that at least.

It's alot of fun, BIG HOWEVER, the final sequence of this game is a travesty, there's difficult, there's Fromsoft hard, and there's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad. That final sequence sucks ass, it's astounding how a game with such a polished and unique movement system can manage to have the WORST PART of the game be a platforming section. By all means buy this game it's pretty dang good, but I refuse to believe anything obtained by beating the game is worth the absolute f*ckfest that is the ending areas.

This is how I fixed the "CMDL cache" issue and got it working again.

1: Favorite and then uninstall ALL addons.
2: Run Gmod (I ran the HL2 campaign and episodes).
3: Reinstall your addons a few at a time.
4: Try starting campaigns every 5-8 addons.
5: you can eventually reinstall everything.
6: Make SURE none of your subbed mods were deleted, taken down, or the profiles that made them were deleted. (It seems like Gmod doesn't know how to respond when this has happened.
7: If mods HAVE been deleted uninstall them then restart Gmod.

I can not in good conscience recommend this game, I have been unable to launch this game for roughly a year and a half.
They've changed the launcher at least twice both times ruined countless mods.

Don't buy this game 2K's completely ruined it.
It used to just be broken to where you couldn't run it with mods but now it just plain doesn't run.

It's a fun game but it's also a scam, if you don't buy the "Jewel of the Nile" DLC you straight up cannot start the first mission.

Really scummy.

So I feel I can give the positive to this because its enjoyable enough that it deserves it.
However the game does have a few glaring issues.
Some will only bother long-time fans of the series, and some will bother everyone.

Problems
1: You can no longer direct your walljumps, which while it takes away an interesting mechanic it doesn't really harm the playability much.

2: The short, vertical wallrun is gone. This hurts quite a bit since it takes away a fair amount of fluidity (The game's staple) and makes the platforming MUCH more tedious.

3: Swatting away a mouse bullet no longer launches the bullet away and it also continues to be an entity (It can still hurt you) while falling.

4: If you played World 3 (Adventure) then you'll notice the aerial attacks are gone. These helped with platforming and also (obviously) defended you while airborne, it's alot harder to attack effectively while aiborne now.

5: Enemies don't stun for near as long anymore so with how bouncy this game is it can be a bit of a pain reaching a stunned enemy before they get back up.

6: The ink enemies were an interesting touch but since you can only attack them with the pen, there are WAY too many of them. This takes away alot of mobility and fluidity from the game as opposed to the previous entries because with so many ink enemies you constantly have to stop to do combat with them because you can't slide or jump on them.

7: CRASHES. It crashes unfortunately frequently.

8:(Not really a problem) but they changed the spring's classic "Boing" effect :(

All this being said, the game is still great in my opinion, it still (for the most part) offers the classic Fancy Pants experience with some new enemies, more awesome level and music design, and an absolutely badazz inkboarding mechanic.
Though I think maybe it should be about $7-$8 instead of $10.

I'm all for trying new things. You can't make a better game without trying new things, but I'm also a big advocate for "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." (like with the wallrun and the walljumps.)

I DO recommend this game.
