Warning: There are spoilers in this review, if you wish to not be spoiled look at this review again when you've finished the story.

I wrote a review about this before game, that was half way the story I was in, I was 40 or so hours deep in the story.
I am now rewriting my original review after I finished the story, while I'm basically tearing up.

The story this game has, the characters, the connections you build between them, the people who you visit as side quests, all of them have an impact on you as the character you play as and you as a person. In this game, you are Arthur Morgan. Everything you do will have an impact on somebody, either positive or negative as shown in some quests you need to do.

What this game made me feel while I am playing it, no game has ever done that to me before. I'm pretty sure that's the case with a lot of people that have experienced this game for the first time.

The moment when Arthur gets told he's got Tuberculosis and has not a lot of time left, it'll impact you the first time you hear it. Further into the story you just notice his condition is getting worse and worse. You just wanna make sure Arthur gets turned into the good man many people say that he is.

The scene of him thanking his horse, which for some of you may be the horse you've been with the entire game.
The scenes where he's being beaten up by Micah, getting visibly weaker with every punch he gets.
The scene of Dutch just turning around abandoning him.
The scene of him taking his last breath on the cliff staring at the sun.
All of those scenes just broke me down into tears. The fact that he was already suffering from something he couldn't control, he also had to be backstabbed by the ones who he thought were loyal. It makes you feel that you were the one that got betrayed by people who you thought were loyal.

It was a hell of an experience, probably the best gaming experience I've ever had. It's just a shame that I will never be able to experience this for the first time ever again.

After writing this review I am still crying my eyes out, what this game is - it's unexplainable in words. All I can say is experience it for yourself, it's worth every cent. Either on sale or off sale, we all need to experience how good of a man Arthur Morgan is.

Thank you Arthur Morgan, and thank you Rockstar Games.
