Dying light 2 is not the best but it is not bad at all

Story: it is kinda bad, the characters are a bit repetitive, however, I found the side quest to be super interesting and at times much better than the main storyline, I enjoyed the voice acting.

Gameplay: it's awesome!! People are saying the parkour is floaty or something like that but while in-game u only feel it sometimes when u make a stupid long jump which does not happen many times in my experience so far. As for the combat, it is worse than DL1 and there are some balancing issues with the parkour skills (especially the dropkick which in hard mode deals about half health to an enemy your level) but it is still very enjoyable ( The slowmo decapitations are to die for)

Night Time: compared to DL1 it sucks, there is no fear and the threat of dying is almost minimal, I haven't encountered a single volatile in my 20 hours of gameplay which about 5 of them were at night.

However, I didn't buy this game for the story so if u just want to have fun and can tolerate a bad/mediocre story this is definitely for you.
