I really appreciate Square Enix giving us the Demo, it really helped make up my mind. Two things: the gameplay is well suited to a gamepad, and those reviews complaining about performance issues just need to balance their graphic's settings. My rig ain't the most powerful and I played this game with no issues on mid settings.

I'll definitely buy FFXVI, someday, probably when it's in a sale and the mood strikes me. For the demo alone I'll award it 4/5. I like the gameplay and I'm intrigued to see how the story will unfold.

The only reason I mark it down is because I would've preferred turn-based combat, but that's where the demo comes in to try it out.

The Signal From Tolva has a lot of charm. The graphics are easy on the eyes, whether it be the landscapes or the mysterious structures dotted around or the cool robot designs. The background music adds to the eerie atmosphere of the planet. The gameplay is a straight forward and well-balanced capture territory fps. The story is there if you're paying attention; it's a mystery that teases you with data files you find throughout the game. Even so, it does leave something to interpretation. More can be learned about the story through the free dlc (Polar Regions) that comes with the game. The only thing that kinda grated was the interface sound-effects; they're a little harsh on the ears.

Overall I really enjoyed this game. I hope that maybe by some good fortune we'll see the devs return to Tolva. 4/5

I almost didn't play this game because of the need for the 'Third Party Rock Star Game Launcher' and it being 150GB to install. I'm glad I got past this. I loved RDR1 on the 360, and RDR2 has been awesome to play.
One thing to note for those running a Nvidia GPU: turn the TAA Sharpening (temporal anti-aliasing) off, as it conflicts with Nvidia's DLSS Technology. Once I'd done this I had no issues with frame rates or crashing.
Overall, Red Dead Redemption 2 is the wild west at its best. 5/5

It may not be Subnautica, but it's still good. If it's in a sale you can't go wrong. 4/5

25 years in the making and it shows. Starfield has been developed by an experienced team. This isn't to say it's without issues, but there's nothing that can't be ironed out with a few patches here and there.

[Edit] The only things I would like to have seen is the ability to manage your follower's behaviour in combat or generally in the field, i.e Offensive/Defensive/support. Sometimes they start shooting at the wildlife when I'd rather they didn't. Also, I'd like to have seen the role playing element spill over into levelling up your followers' stats - (something like in the first Mass Effect.) Simply put, there wasn't any crew customisation; very disappointing. We don't even get the chance to customise their armour. I hope this will be put right in a future update.

Even so, after all is said and done, Starfield is a lot of fun and a winner in my book. 4/5

One thing to add: make good use of the 'quick save.' I've been kicked out of my game a handful of times. Maybe it's the game or maybe my hardware, I dunno.

Final word: I like the main storyline, I like the idea, but it could've been fleshed out more. If you're not careful, the game will be over all too quickly. My first playthrough was 500+ hours, with doing the side missions, and I still feel like the game came to a conclusion too soon. I guess, now I wait for the release of Shattered Space (dlc). And with saying that, I look forward to playing Starfield (new game +) - it's a good game.

P.s. Final gripe: Those that like Starfield put so much time and effort into their ship-builds. If only piloting our beloved ships was more meaningful. Seems Bethesda dropped the ball on this one.

Easily a favourite. I really enjoyed working out what this game was asking of me for me to be able to progress. The puzzles may be on the simple side, but the environment you have to navigate is quite intricate and very atmospheric. Scorn is a work of art. 5/5

An essential hint that helped me enjoy Scorn so much more: Avoid combat where you can. Most of the time creatures will ignore you if you back away and let them complete their path.

Quantic Dream is the kind of developer that makes the games they want to make, sink or swim. Heavy Rain swims like a beauty, having an engaging story, interesting characters and innovative/reflexive gameplay. 5/5

I look forward to playing Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human.

This game is awesome. Styx, with his various powers and abilities, really encourages a tactical mindset in the player navigating their way through the many obstacles and objectives to complete the missions. An easy 5/5
