Edit: They got rid of the bots. But Steam don't have a neutral option. I would wait til the end of 2024 to see if the bots are actually gone.

Oh boy. There's nothing I love more then playing wack-a-bot with the Call Vote feature every 2 minutes instead of ... you know PLAYING THE ACTUAL GAME! Get your act together Valve and tackle the bot problem with your internal dev team! If you're not willing to do that, then hire some of the community members to do that job for you.

The game really feels like a hybrid between Layers of Fear and Lust For Darkness. The creep factor is nice and the story itself is nice for what it is (not gonna spoil it). Also, the game really tries its hardest to make you play as if you are a child. Certain areas are locked off if you don't have a source of light and certain statues has the ability to remove your source of light. Interesting touch right there. Overall, the game's a great teaser for the full game.

Dread X Collection comes from the minds of 10 established indie horror developers over at itch.io with the idea of making P.T in context and these 10 devs has done great. Each game shows how each one of the devs does horror and each one of them a great showcase into their bigger projects.
