I will say overall, that I do recommend this game. However, it's also a very complex game with lots of complex systems. If you're a new player, it can be a massive beast to try and figure out, before you know how everything in the game works. It also expects you to grind an absolute f*ck ton. Some of the RNG is so god awful, it makes me wanna rip the eyes out of my sockets. But then I remember that the game's premium currency, Platinum, is obtainable for free, through trade chat! :D

So then I just do fissure missions to farm prime stuff, and then I sell the prime stuff for plat, and I get the thing I want.
But yeah, this game is also extremely time consuming, like Destiny 2. However, unlike Destiny 2, you don't feel like the game is forcing you to do it. There's barely any FOMO at all (well...... compared to Destiny at least). Probably the most FOMO inducing things in the game are the nightwaves, which take the form of a Fortnite style battle pass. (EWWWWW!!!!!) Fortunately it doesn't cost money though.

This game has a TON of customization options, which is fantastic! None of the expansions cost money either! They're just added to the game for all players to enjoy! :D

Perhaps my favorite thing about the game are the clan dojos! You get to create and customize a base for your clan. It's a really good editor too! Like, you get to place walls n' sh*t wherever you want, and create almost whatever you want! I made myself an absolutely massive menacing fortress with its own state-of-the-art space throne! :D

There are SO many little things in this game that allow you to have dumb fun, and it's f*cking amazing! You can fly around open world maps, like Anthem, but way faster and not in a sh*tty game. You can do can pull off sick ass stunts on a hover board known as a K-Drive! You can customize the inside and outside of your ship! You can play minigames in an arcade machine inside your ship (you have to buy it from Cephalon Simaris first)! You can feed resources to a f*cking gigantic mouth inside your ship, and make it absorb old warframes with tentacles lie something out of a hentai scene!!!!!!! This game has it all!

Or does it? The answer is unfortunately no. If you get to the point where I'm at, where your warframes are so powerful that it trivializes everything in the game, everything goes downhill from that point onward. The main issue is the main way you get more powerful is by obtaining powerful mods. (Sorry, not like ones that you find on Nexusmods for various games. Those would be lit! I mean in-game cards with perks that you collect and slot into your warframe, weapons, equipment, etc.) Once you collect the really powerful mods, you've reached the ceiling. There's nothing left for you to chase, other than increasing your mastery rank (which does pretty much nothing once you get it past 10 or so. It just increases the mod capacity that'll exist for an un-leveled weapon or warframe).

There's nothing difficult in the game aside from soloing Eidolons. And because DE constantly adds new stuff to the game, power creep has gotten out of hand, and the entire game is piss easy for veterans. It's a great game, but I require a challenge! Sure, I could do a bunch of self-imposed challenges. But other than that, there's basically nothing left for me. Every time I boot up Warframe nowadays, I'm just like "Why am I playing this? There's nothing left to do aside from tedious grinding for resources to funnel into my gargantuan dojo." And then I just leave because I don't feel like doing that. But nonetheless, I've had over 3000 hours of enjoyment before reaching this point.

For a lack of a better word, I guess I just beat Warframe. I beat the game and there's nothing left for me to do. But this game will always have a special place in my heart. And frankly, it's unrealistic and unhealthy to expect a single game to satisfy all your needs.

This is actually the perfect game to play with a Dark Souls game. Warframe could not possibly be any different from Dark Souls. However if you're bored with Warframe, Dark Souls shall provide you with the daunting challenges you seek! And if a boss pisses you off, and you need a break, Warframe is still here, so you can rip through countless armies of Grineer, Corpus, and Infested, as if they were tissue paper!!!!!! Make them bleed as you have bled. Make them suffer as you have suffered. Let them bear witness to your unimagimable power, as you pour your wrath upon those insignificant mortal insectssssssssss!!!!!

Because in this game, you ARE the Dark Souls boss! >:)
