I adore this game. Does it have its flaws? Yes. Are there things I would change? Also yes. But I love it despite all that. To put it simply: this game is fun and it made me fall in love with the characters and their stories. And it’s really not a very difficult game, especially if you take advantage of all the options in the accessibility section in the settings. What more could I ask for?

Absolutely adorable and a great way to get into the festive spirit! I particularly loved how when you get down to 10 cats, you can get guided to the area the hidden cats are located. That was very helpful!

This game is just absolutely lovely. The art style, the story, alternate routes, the characters, the music (done by Toby Fox!); everything about this game is fantastic. I loved all of the characters, especially the player character, Rosemary. She's truly inspiring. Guys, this game is just wonderful. I want to gush on and on about it, but I'm so full of feelings for and from this game that I just can't. I mean, this game evokes a hecka ton of feelings, mostly good ones. I found myself squealing and cooing and giggling so many times while playing this. I don't know what else to say without repeating myself!

Just... just play the game. Just try it and you'll see. Hopefully. Maybe you won't enjoy this game as much as I have, but surely you'll enjoy it just a smidgen! If you stick it out, I can almost guarantee you won't be disappointed.

The creator wrote in the afterword that they consider the game “pretty flimsy,” but I can’t help but disagree. I feel the story has a good pace and overall I couldn’t be happier after finishing the game. I really love and adore this game, even if there is only one route and there aren’t a bunch of choices to be made like in a lot of VNs. It’s a visual novel in the most literal sense, but that’s okay. For this particular story, I think it’s almost better that there aren’t choices to make that may lead to different endings. The story of wooing Sachi is more than enough. In fact, I found the story to be quite cute and moving. Usui Sachi is adorable and I love her! I loved seeing her grow as a character. I also am absolutely in love with the art style and the music!

If I had to summarize this game using just one word, I'd say fun! Now, as with practically all point-and-click games, there were a few moments where I had to look up a guide to help me when I got stuck, but it only happened a few times. And, as I already said, it happens for me in pretty much every point-and-click game I play, so it wasn't that big of a deal to me. I'm just mentioning it to be thorough. Anyway, the story was interesting if a tad cliché, but not in a bad way. Overall I thought the game was cute. The humor was pretty on the nose and there were innuendoes aplenty, but it was clearly all in good fun. I found it all quite humorous and kind of charming in a way.

Now for the cons. I really only have two and one of them isn't a con as much as it's something I wish was included in the game that wasn't. Firstly, the game is just a tad buggy. It's not game-breaking or anything but it is there. Secondly, there were quite a few things in the story that I felt were left unexplained. Or perhaps it's more that certain events and characters weren't given the attention they deserve. Such as the crew on the ship! I wanted to know more about them but nothing was really mentioned beyond the basics as to their station. Or perhaps the most important question, why did Tycho and Andy break up?! All unnecessary things in the grand scheme of things, but things that I want to know none the less!

Sadly, I can see how someone could take the game too seriously and maybe even take offense given the blatancy and over-the-top manner in which the game presents itself. I personally think that's part of the charm. I think this is just a light-hearted and silly game meant to be fun and to broaden the selection of LGBT+ games out there for people to enjoy, and it does a good job of that. I can't say "don't take offense" because there's always going to be somebody who will... but I say just give it a chance. It's not an exceedingly long game or anything and you might just enjoy yourself! Surely you'd find at least one part to be fun.

Stardew Valley is a lovingly crafted game that stole my heart. It has a beautiful soundtrack, a charming art style, and the gameplay is fantastic! And even three years after it's initial release here on Steam, ConcernedApe (the developer) is still releasing content updates that bring fresh and interesting content into the game to improve gameplay and replayability. Now, it may seem like just your average farming game at a glance, but it's actually so much more. There's really something for just about everyone. Of course, there's farming and everything that entails (crops, animals, and the making of artisan goods), and fishing; but there are also caves to explore and an Adventurer's Guild to join; mystical happenings, complete with an actual wizard in a tower; quests to fulfill; arcade games to obsess over (and lose your cool over); and a town full of life, bustling with a unique and varied cast of characters that you can't help but want to get to know (and potentially marry). Plus, there's multiplayer!

All in all this game is a real gem and I HIGHLY recommend it.

With a truly ingenious script, eerie soundtrack, skilled voice acting, and gorgeous artwork, I cannot praise Lake of Voices enough! Everything comes together perfectly to create a truly harrowing experience and one I simply cannot get enough of. The character designs are wonderfully designed, each character unique and just absolutely lovely, and the same can be said for the routes for each character. This game doesn't disappoint. It's seriously beautifully crafted and I highly recommend it to pretty much everyone. It's just SO GOOD! And did I mention that it's free?

This game is really just a clicker game but it's done in an interesting way. You discover little stories and some trivia through your active clicking, which makes it fun to play. There's also a "secret" (?) shooter game where you fly around as a little cupcake kinda guy and shoot the evil flies who are coming to eat you~! You get to this mini-game by right clicking on your mouse, which also lets you choose between one of three unique clicker hands/fingers (which I found a pleasant surprise).

So yes, this game was overall surprisingly fun and involved! I recommend it to anyone interested in clicker games and maybe people who are just interested in trying new things.

I absolutely loved playing Dr. Frank's Build a Boyfriend. It wasn’t what I expected, but then somehow I was expecting some kind of dress-up game? I actually can’t describe what exactly I was expecting this game to be, but I think it’s best when I’ve been happily surprised by a game. The story is adorable. The characters are adorable, especially Dr. Frank! I love Dr. Frank so, so much~♥ Oh, and yeah, this is kind of a retelling of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, but so much better if that can be believed. The game started out a tad silly, but really it is quite an emotional and moving story. There’s a secret ending (and any game with secrets is automatically the best ever) and I loved it. Both endings are great, but the secret ending route gives you a better look at one of the characters in the game, which I really liked. So yeah, overall a really good game.

I do have one criticism, however, and that is that the controls are a tad finicky. There’s a section in the game that has some point-and-click elements and you have to be really precise on what you’re aiming to click on, to the point that the object has to be highlighted or else the game doesn’t recognize it as being selected. That could be a bit annoying at times but not really to the point of game-breaking, at least not to me.

Otherwise, I really loved this game and highly recommend it. It’s cute, fun, entertaining, and just overall a great way to spend some time. Plus it’s free-to-play, so that’s a bonus.

This game is one of the best games I have ever played. It's clever, it's fun, it's terrifying, and I loved every single second of it! On the surface, it's a wonderfully written, slice-of-life VN with three lovely romantic interests to choose from. But there's a very special twist in this story and it takes you on the ride of your life. I was breathless by the end of it; my stomach was in my throat, my heart where my stomach used to be, and my head rolling off my shoulders! A true roller coaster of emotions! Truly one of the most unique experiences I've ever had the pleasure of... well, experiencing! BUT it is definitely not for the faint of heart. The warnings definitely need to be heeded because this game can mess you up!

Even still, I recommend this game to everyone (who thinks they can handle it), even those who aren't usually fans of VNs! Just PLEASE really think about whether you think you'll be able to handle the content in the game. I loved this game, but it's very upsetting, very triggering, and very disturbing. It's not worth potentially jeopardizing your mental/emotional health over. Just beware, guys. Make smart choices!
