I absolutely love this game. It's definitely one of the best games I've played in quite a while. The premise is intriguing, the execution spot-on, and the story just phenomenal. The game was crafted beautifully. There are so many little things to explore and choices to be made. This is definitely a game I wouldn't mind revisiting. Which is a good thing, because I didn't get the good ending during my first playthrough. I will keep trying until I get it, and I'll probably keep playing even after. I really do love this game that much.

I highly recommend this game to anyone who is interested in games where your decisions made a big impact on the story.

Emily is Away is a blast from the past for sure. It plays like a visual novel, even if you only see the game world through the window of an instant messenger. The story is rich and powerful, easily drawing the player in for a rollercoaster of a ride through five chapters of the playable character's life. I absolutely loved playing this!

Even with the wonderful story, I'd recommend this game solely based on the unique gameplay.

Welcome to Hatoful Boyfriend! In this game you play the only human attending a prestigious school for gifted birds called St. PigeoNation’s Institute, “the most splendid and greatest academy of the pigeon, by the pigeon and for the pigeon.” Sound weird? Only if you make it so! In reality Hatoful Boyfriend is a wonderfully written dating sim filled with a menagerie of characters and plot twists you’ll never see coming! A definite 10/10 in my book.

This game is incredibly frustrating. It's perhaps one of the most infuriating (and depressing) games I've ever played. My politcal goals just don't work anywhere in the game. Everytime I play I end up getting assassinated by (usually) capitalist-funded groups.

It's actually really disappointing, because I feel like this game really does have potential. Perhaps it's because the game focuses on real-life politics? I'm not really sure. I think I was just expecting something different when I bought this game. (On sale; this game is definitely not worth the full price, if you do want to buy it.) I just really wanted to be able to turn the countries I played into the truly free (of debt, inequality, homelessness, crime, ect.) utopias I know they can be. I guess it was just too much to hope for.

Only in its alpha stage and already The Long Dark is the best survival game I've ever played. Every choice you make matters. Every second counts.

What I love most about this game is all the different elements that are combined in determining how long you can withstand the fight to survive. There's the standard health, but that's really the least of your worries. In a game where you can literally freeze to death, the thing you should be most concerned about is the unpredictable weather. On top of that is the ever-present threat of hungry wolves and bears. Sure, there's deer and rabbits, but if you're willing to downgrade to dog food as means for sustenance, then you can bet those wolves and bears won't even stop to think before trying to take a bite out of you. Next on the list is the matter of shelter. You're not always going to be able to hide away in cabins (and for those lucky enough to find them, bunkers). No, there are going to be times when you're going to have to try and find somewhere to camp out at when fatigue has run you ragged. The great thing is that fire isn't really an issue. You have a multitude of options when it comes to making yourself your own little bonfire, and it's not all that hard to do.

Now I'm going to circle back around to that standard health deal. Water? Yeah, it's your lifeline. You can survive a little while when you're starving, but dehydration will kill you swiftly. Your source of water is melting snow at the fire. However, just that isn't enough. You need to boil the water to make it safe, or else you're at risk of getting sick. Are we having fun yet? You might be thinking, "This game has way too many factors working against me. It's not even worth it." Not entirely true (as far as the first part; the second is up to you to decide). The funny thing is that food isn't as big a worry as you'd think. Remember those deer and rabbits I mentioned earlier? Sometimes you'll run across the frozen remains of a deer and be able to harvest some meat. When you do find shelters, then you're guaranteed to find some kind of food (and no, not just dog food). And if you get desperate enough, you can always eat cattails you find along the edges of waterways. Of course the level of difficulty plays a big factor in just how hard it is to survive. My favorite is the difficulty setting in where wolves and bears won't attack you! Unless provoked... it's not that easy.

All in all, this game is really just wonderful. There's no such thing as too much praise. The most exciting thing? This game is still in the alpha stage, and there's still a story mode to be explored!

I admit to being skeptical when I first stumbled upon this game. I thought it was most likely boring, and I really couldn't imagine any appeal whatsoever. I was monumentally mistaken.

AdVenture Capitalist is easy, fun, and addicting. The thing I love most about this game is that it's on a real-time counter, so you can just pop in and manage your assets whenever you please. There are no penalties, and you're guaranteed a nice chunk of change when you enter the game.

In 28 minutes my skull was torn open and my mind scrambled around to the point I'm not sure what's up or down anymore. My head aches, and my stomach is in knots... and yet I still feel an unsettling connection and morbid curiosity towards this game. The combination of the music, the white-noise from the televisions, and the inability to turn on any lights make the atmosphere creepy. The ending completely took me by surprise, although I'm not entirely sure why.

I wouldn't recommend this game for everyone. It is dark and disturbing, yet there is also this dark part of myself that finds it absolutely fantastic. I think that may be the most disturbing thing of all... how much I want more of this game.

Kitty Powers' Matchmaker is fun and addicting! This game is completely unique to anything I've ever played before, and it combines so many elements! Let's start with clientele! First you choose a location (disco, gym, comic book store, ect.) for Kitty to set up fliers to attract customers. The locations you pick determine the type of clients that arrive; for example, choosing the comic book store will bring in the "Geeky" types. Each client is different, varying in looks, personality, and interests. Because of the uniqueness of each character, it can be hard finding the right match for your client, but that's what makes it so much fun! Will your client swing a home-run of strike out on their date(s)?

The actual dates are the most intricate part of the entire game. Literally everything has a part in determining the success of the date, from choosing a restaurant to holding in your farts! There are fun mini-games to be played that vary with each establishment you go to. Leveling up unlocks new restaurants for clients to visit and different features in the salon to beautify your client before the big date!

There is quite a lot of memorization involved in the game, so it can get tough once you reach the higher scoring dates, but I don't believe it distracts from the overall entertainment of the game.

My favorite thing about the game is the mailbox feature. After successfully setting up your client with a hot date, you will receive mail from he or she updating you on how things are progressing in their new relationship. Sometimes things go sour and the couple breaks up, but sometimes they'll end up with children and even name one of the babies after you! It all comes down to how well you do when playing matchmaker.
