You either love it or hate it, and I personally love it. Especially with mods that fix the bugs/anti-player bias (including my person favorite mod: 'Fall of the Eagles + Europa Perdita Revised').

It's a great simulator that I use along with MSFS. Some things that XPlane does better are replay, keybinds, UI, and having a better/easier to use modding scene. However, at this point I'd recommend XPlane 12 with the 12.1 beta.
