Honestly its not worth buying any DLC, just play the free version as long as you can. They just need to drop this game and rework the engine to hold more instead of pumping out mediocre hold-over content that is so grindy that its not even fun to play anymore. Destiny 2 had high hopes but flopped tremendously and I am so disappointed because year 3 destiny 1 seemed like they had things figured out. I still play this game every now and then but its only for a little bit. Regarding the whole seasons thing it feels a bit cheap to just throw out a battle pass and a couple of new missions every couple months and call it content. Weapon metas are constantly being thrown around and nothing is ever consistently being nerfed or buffed to match player feedback. Things just stay overpowered until the next season where it gets nerfed into oblivion then remains useless forever until after all of the main fanbase has left. Overall its a decent game at best but not worth spending money on, it has no excellent potential unless they decide to release Destiny 3 or whatever the ♥♥♥♥ its going to be called in the near future.

Update!!!: Since my last review I have got a lot of things to say. Bungie has started to listen again(slightly). This season (season 11 for those of you who dont know what season we are on/season of arrivals) is by no means a spectacular season, but it is a very nice change of scenery. We now have weekly story missions progressing the lore in a non-textual way, where most lore is overlooked because of the hundreds of lore books nobody reads (praise be to daddy byf for always being there) and continuing our approach to Beyond Light in the fall.
Now onto the good stuff:
My biggest gripes with this season is sunsetting and the current lack of gear, we see a small amount of weapons returning from previous seasons and destinations. However I understand the lack of options due to this being the season right before a hyped-up fall expansion (hopefully saving the big bois for fall). Another gripe is how awful it feels to play this game when you dont have a lot of time to put into it. I get that its a game and I should play how I wanna play but when i want to play to get the most out of it but Im working 40+ hour weeks with night shifts and what not it feels like I cant get the most out of the game but that really is a me problem and theres ntohing bungie can do about besides make the game less grindy but for those who dont work as much and can get the most out of it, it might not feel rewarding for them. I guess were stuck in this loop of its too grindy and its not grindy enough for the veterans of D1 and D2 now.
On a more positive note I do like the most recent public events and how they incorporate gambit-esque mechanics into PvE while still retaining that public event feel. Armor and mods all feel great this season to where nothing feels like its really breaking the game.
New weapon perks are nice refresher for the season and overall everything is starting to feel fluid again in the D2 community and Im really looking forward to this fall expansion!

Game is for autistic individuals who want to waste thier time playing a game that was made in 3 hours, with a developer who thinks any game that slightly resembles it is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rip-off, go play fortnite instead.
