Personally I never really had any issues with this port. Also I find the VR mode to be super fun, if a bit disorienting at times. Makes me really wish for a VR mech dogfighting game.

This game is... a bit of a double edged sword.

On the one hand the combat is entertaining, the weapons are diverse and some of them are extremey punchy, and the music is phenomenal (it's Andrew Hussie, of course the music is going to be great!) The gore is also extremely satisfying.

But then there's the difficulty, especially on new game plus, good lord is it way too easy to die due to the lackluster damage feedback and lack of enemy readability. I didn't mind the minigames tho, but I can totally see why some people don't enjoy them.

But somehow I keep coming back to this game despite not ultimately enjoying it, which is the same exact effect Project Warlock had on me a while back.

So do I recommend this game? Yes and no.

Can't wait to see what Blazing Bit is going to put out in the future tho!

Game's super fun. Just a VR campaign for Doom 2016.

Controls are a bit weird tho, and the fact that you cannot turn with the joysticks is a bit... questionable (although you can bind turning to the face buttons via the console).

This game has a really interesting atmosphere, and it's a fun time waster. But that's about it, most if not all deaths are due to something that is out of your control.

Super fun to stream on Discord tho.

One of my bestest buddies gave me this game on my birthday.

This game reminds me heavily of those fun 80's horror sci-fi movies like Aliens, The Thing and so on. This game'll test you and your friends' communication, cooperative and observational skills, pushing them to their limits.

Going in as a group, only to then be seperated due to confusion and then getting ripped apart/eaten by carnivorous space mutants will never get old.

Strong recommendation from me!
