While the art and music are really nice, I can't recommend the game because it's lacking. I expected a cute, romantic story.

The game is way too short, even with the different endings (that seem pretty much the same), you can 100% the game in less than an hour.
I find the character development really lacking, you simply cannot get attached to the characters because it speedruns through their life (that is also really short it seems).

Also, if you are someone that is really sick and tired of covid, just ignore this game completely. You are missing out just on 10 minutes of gameplay and covid stuff, not really a loss.

Florence is more of a narrative driven game, about a girl that feels a little stuck. It's a relatable game and that's why for some of us it hurts so much. Her life is an endless routine of work, sleep, and spending too much time on social media to fill in the invisible yet present void. We've all been there. One day, she meets a cello player who makes her see the world in different colors. Florence is intimate, raw and personal.

The game lets you experience their relationship from the beginning, which makes it even more relatable especially when the puzzle dialogues are starting to appear. At first, the pieces seem more complex, there's many of them that you need to piece together, but as the story goes on, the pieces become easier and easier to piece together, since in a relationship at first you don't know what ground you're standing on and you need to carefully use your words until you learn about the things you have in common and it becomes much easier to talk to each other.

The relationship shows the nice parts about it: flirting, helping each other grow and supporting one another's dreams; but also shows the not so pretty parts in relationships as well: fighting, taking what you have for granted because of the comfortable (maybe too comfortable) routine going on and sadly growing apart. The ending makes you understand that not every loss is a loss. That sometimes you need to go through a rough patch and even though at first it's hard and you're feeling lost, in time you find yourself and that passion you forgot you still carry with you.

Gameplay wise it consists of simple mini-puzzles that cannot be failed. The game presents itself as minimalistic but don't let that fool you. It is as impactful as its simple graphics.

Honestly, if you are someone that has been through at least one real relationship, this game hits way too hard. You see the progress from the early stages until the last one, leaving you feeling nostalgic and craving for more.

It is a bittersweet experience that in my opinion is worth the full price.

While I'm usually not a huge fan of Strategy games, I gotta say Yes, Your Grace really impressed me. It's not overly complicated although it has a good degree of complexity. That doesn't mean that if you're not good at Strategy games you should pass it, the tutorial is fairly easy to understand if you're paying attention to it.

A war is coming and you need to make difficult decisions, every decision that you make has a chance to be actually really important to the plot. Even the most insignificant decision you may think of can affect the future outcome. Refusing a starving family food? While you may think that won't affect you in any way, the game will make you pay for it later.

Yes, Your Grace has an amazing medieval setting with pleasing pixel graphics with a lot of details that can be seen throughout the game. The music is excellently chosen and really adds to the medieval setting.

The game has an exciting storyline that keeps you on edge with every decision that you take since the outcome can be good or bad. The game offers you a feeling of belonging, you have a family and a Kingdom to take care of and that are looking up to you, "This is my family & kingdom", and you can either fail or succeed.

The team working on this game did a magnificent job and it can be seen how much passion has been put into this game and especially into the little details. I would happily play this over any AAA game that has a dull story and the only thing making it up for that are the graphics.

I mean, it's a Hentai game, let's get this out first.
Having said that, I really enjoyed the game. It's a match-3 type of game, can't say anything but good things about that part because I really like that kind of puzzle. The colors are vibrant, there are different effects depending on what type of gems you matched, different sounds.

There are twelve girls in total with the DLCs, each one of them has their own story. Some stories were actually kind of good with plot twists, the rest of them were just typical stories, some of them badly written that make no sense whatsoever. There are also a lot of typos in the dialogues.

As I said each girl has their own story that you progress through and that has two endings, a good and a bad one.

What I found interesting is that each girl has her own set of attacks/abilities. You can buy items to use that can make your fight much easier, but in order for that to really help you out in a battle you do need to read the attacks/abilities of the girls in order to know which item to use. There are also some perks that you can unlock after buying them that can also help you out.

For the Hentai part, you're just pretty much punishing the girls using sex. Beware that it is kind of forced at first until you make the girl aroused and she wants it. Story wise you can either pick the pleasure route or the pain one.

I don't have that much experience with Hentai games, apart from Huniepop I didn't play others, so Hentai wise I don't really know what to say. Puzzle wise I really enjoyed the game and I would've liked it a lot better if there were more levels and the girls scaled with you, because once I had enough money to buy the items/perks that I needed, the game became way too easy and I had to play without them in order to feel a challenge.

Early Access Review
Scarlet Hollow is the best visual novel I have played in a while. The most interesting part about the game is, for me, the perks system. You start the game with two perks that you choose and that will impact the gameplay. While the episodes aren't that long and there are only two released at the moment, there is still a lot to do in the game thanks to perks! The perks are honestly giving you hours of content experimenting with them and getting different scenarios every time.
The richness of the story keeps you on edge until the very end of the episodes, leaving you craving for more. This is a game where your choices ACTUALLY matter. Even if you just chose to eat a PB&J, that choice will influence the story at some point.
Scarlet Hollow has a very precise, sweet spot of horror by building tension and making you feel uneasy at times. While it is an immersive horror-mystery type of game, the humor that can be found in it is top notch. Many references to memes and jokes can be spotted in the dialogues as well as in the achievement's art and names. (Is Sticky Fingers a JoJo's reference? hmmmm)
Currently there are only two episodes available, with more to come. The first episode is free, however I do recommend buying the full game. The small team working on this did a tremendously good job and they deserve the support.
Looking forward for the next episodes!
