Going to be a no from me.
You acquire skills in this game by devouring enemies, the devour skills kill instantly and have a success %. The % depends on if you used a few attacks against the enemy from their weaknesses. Bosses cant be devoured, instead, you automatically devour them when you kill them the regular way.
This means every character you have can learn the same skills, reducing the difference among them. You dont really have to manage the skill points, I could learn every skill with every character and still had thousands. They also use the same armors and boots, the only difference is the weapons and physical damage type, but this can be changed as well.
The fights happen on a 3 level field, meaning, you can just fly away from enemies who will always fly after you and you can trap them every time, leading to a cheese fest of everyone buffing and debuffing each other with constant healing. Seriously, there is a skill in the game that revives a teammate with full HP. But dont worry, enemies with 5% HP remaining can totally heal up too.
To somewhat balance the combat, you have to equip every skill with a skill point limit, leading to planning and diversity among them, but this ultimately doesnt save the combat in my eyes.

The enemies: literally all of them is some sort of dragon or reptile looking thing, they become very boring after a while. The battles arent really spectacular either. Its all zoomed out and hard to follow who is where, meaning you will constantly rely on the small battlefield aid in the corner.

The story seemed fairly good, it has filler parts but got me interested at first. The waifus are serious, but Karikaro is a bit off in my opinion.
Also keep in mind that while the game is somewhat short, not many people actually finished it.

This game is so incredibly well made its hard to imagine that it was originally created in 2007. Havent experienced bugs so far either!

I pooped my self a little so I stopped. I will probably play it in the future but there are some damn fine scares at the beginning of the game. The gameplay doesnt make too much sense but the atmosphere makes up for it.
