Okay but seriously I feel like people are giving this game a pass for its cute AIM aesthetic, and the fact that it's free and only half an hour long, but you can hardly call this a "game" or even a "story". The only character you interact with is this girl who you apparently have feelings for even though you know nothing about her except that you're apparently really good friends. Your dialogue choices have minimal effect on the "story" and no matter what you do you'll get the same unsatisfying ending, and Emily will make you feel like it's your fault every time. Maybe there's meant to be some sort of "deep meaning" in the futility of regretting choices made in past relationships, but it seems to me like a pretentious excuse for a lack of plot and character development.
