It's a phenomenal game with amazing music to listen to as you blast your way through countless enemies. You gather so many items/powerups to the point you become an self-propelled force of destruction, until one misstep ends your entire hour and a half long run. Absolutely recommended just for the music alone tbh

This game has had some ups and MAJOR downs, I honestly wouldn't fault you for having second thoughts about buying it. However, I find the story absolutely phenomenal and the characters fantastic and interesting to get to know. The bugs are pretty damn bad (also really funny sometimes), but bugs and such can be ironed out and worked on. The story is the core of the game and you can be damn sure that they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ nailed it and the soundtrack.

So, the story goes like this. You are a bored corporate robot wanting to get way from it all. Then you remember your letter is in your desk drawer, cause apparently you live at work. You're like, "Aw yeah, I get to live in the country!"
>Realize Joja is everywhere
You'll never escape Joja, they're like Wal-Mart. Full of manufactored crap products and people who can't take the 2 seconds to put on some decent clothes.
>Go against Joja
You take 50 years to complete all the challenges and feel the feels.
>Realize there's nothing left to do
>Look at your clock
>look at your calender
>Find out that the real world's society has broken down and the apocalypse is upon us
You never noticed, because you've been playing Stardew Valley for 20 real years. You wasted your life. Your family is dead. Your too out of shape to hunt for food. You will die in the next coming winter. I heard freezing to death is kind of peaceful. (kind of) But hey, at least you finally got to floor 300 in the Skull Cavern. That's what really matters, right?
