Economic system is very shallow, you just look at what you need and then build or trade it.
Diplomacy is pointless since countries will side against you in doplomatic play even if they really like you.
Warfare is just random with generals beeing most impactful (getting generals is also random XD).
Laws are just there for changing statistics, that do not impact your gameplay, resulting in very simmilar playthrough every time.

If you are not gonna spend money on future dlc-s, don't even bother looking at it.
