I love this game its a dream come true. <3

Very Deep, Many Rocks, A lot of Stone. :D And you can feel the pation of the developers.

While this game sure is realistic when it comes to armors, characters, cities etc. , it lacks in story and the combat system is just awful. It feels clunky and slow and over all isnt intuitive, wich is a problem when the npc´s that are supposed to teach you new skill dont actually explain them. Overall it is very frustrating even when your facing single opponents. The story is also rather boring, the pacing is all over the place and it drags on for way to long in some places. In the mid game it feels just like running from A to B collecting X Amount of Placeholder Item bla, bla, bla. SOme of the DLC´s are acutally very good like the band of bastards for example. The atmosphere of the game and the location/ landscapes are amazing and are one of the reason why i kept playing the game for a while. But in the end it didnt hook me.

-interesting characters
-amazing armor customization
Con´s:
-story is disappointing
-combat system is frustrating and just overall unnecessarily complicated
-gameplay gets reppetetive from mid game onward

I would rate the Game a good 6/10
Dont buy for full price wait for a sale. (If there will even be one)

Its Me again... I have to correct myself. I recently reinstalled the game because I couldnt leave it unfinished. And I must say that this decission was for the better. I got trough the last third of the story, with relative ease. At first my opinion of this game was heavily influenced by the combat system and minor bugs that kept annoying me, but now that i got ahold of the combat system i must say that the game opens up to be something totally different to what i first experienced. The fact that I didnt have to fear every encounter or fight i would come accross ment that i could start to apprechiate the dteails of the world more often. I got to see the fun and refreshing character relations and interactions, the many hidden location that can only be found if one would travel the roads and search through the woods and i got to excact revenge on my enemies in one way or another. I dont want to spoil to much of the story but the ending sure is something to be proud of and put a smile on my face. Personally I cant wait for a sequel.

Now to the rating after i have completed the story and most side quests and got a better grasp of the game.

Pro´s:
-beautiful
-interesting characters
-amazing armor customization
-a story that picks up pace as it goes on and challenges you throughout

Con´s:
-combat system is still frustrating at first but thats due to a high learning curve
-still some bugs in the game like visual glitches and textures missing

Final opinion after Edit: (8/10 Buy it when youre up for an Adventure.)

This game might kick your ass at first but if you take the time to get into it you find a content rich world with a love and attention to detail that most tripple A studios could only dream of, so take your time as you explore behemia and listen to the stories its people have to tell.

Ammazing game its actually fun. And all that for free.

Ich habe Subnautica seit der ersten Stunde und zu sehen wie es sich weiter entwickelt war genial. Das fertige Spiel ist der Hammer und ich hoffe das es allen genauso viel Spaß gemacht es zu spielen wie mir.

Angenehm zu spielen trotz der Brutalität. Aber daruf ist dieses Spiel ja uach ausgerichtet. Ich liebe es und werde es mir bald kaufen.
