Early Access Review
I'm giving this game a negative review because there are better options that are also free to play.
It's also just not worth your time.

Pros:
Runs decently
Simple

Cons:
[TL;DR] The kind of quality you expect from a free to play game that isn't trying to do anything special and doesn't really offer much.

Poor map flow/balance/design - feels like it's trying to be battlefield but lacks any kind of gadgets, classes/abilities to break through choke points or take objectives. It's just long sightlines, open areas with elevated positions that offer cover, and really bad objective to objective paths considering the lack of vehicles.

Bad progression system - you start off with a weapon that some other reviews said was basically unusable but it's fine and you won't have to play for too long to unlock the AK47 which handles a bit easier. However, unlocking things has a weird extra step that doesn't really make sense. You unlock weapons and *global* attachments (at time of review??) by leveling up, but you need to spend in-game-earned currency to purchase said unlocks after you've unlocked them. It would make sense if it was either just linear progression or you could choose to save up for something more expensive but for some reason the dev chose both which is somehow the worst or least intuitive option.

Movement is awkward - it feels very sticky and unresponsive yet has that simplistic system and feeling that also lets you zoom around unreasonably fast as well as spam crouch, lean and jump without consequence. The only thing stopping you is the stamina bar which feels like very unnecessary videogamey mechanic which was added in for the sake of being there. It also doesn't help getting from point A to point B when your spawn is far and there's little cover inbetwen.

The spawns are bad - most negative reviews for this game will probably mention spawns or spawn camping as an issue and for good reason. There does seem to be spawn protection in the form of damage reduction for a couple of seconds but this only applies to your native spawn (the option your team always has and is available at the start of the round before you capture a zone). Despite the protection, some maps either only lead into zones that are easy to camp leaving you unable to leave spawn OR the native spawn is so open that people can just shoot into it anyway despite the protection and big semi-transparent red walls in the way.

Poor visibility - Firstly, everyone is the same character so already you need to rely on a lack of, or a red icon appearing above someone's head to know they're an enemy. Secondly, there are many terrain/map assets that are the same tan army colour and lacking texture as the character's armor which sometimes makes it hard to spot them. There is also very little in the way of bullet trails or at least useful bullet trails to track to an enemy's location, muzzle flashes can help sometimes though. There's also this big chainlink fence on one map that is just awful to see through from afar but you can shoot through it so people will often just sit in it and shoot you from far away.

Killing people feels unrewarding - The meta or name of the game is just getting into a spot where you're going to have a better chance shooting the bad guy before he shoots you. Often times that's either just a well covered long sightline, an elevated position, or just really silly angles that you don't expect. Combined with the unsatisfying floaty, yet unwieldy gunplay makes it feel pretty underwhelming when you shoot someone. Headshots are okay though, however often just a product of random recoil and are poorly balanced for damage fall off situations.

Audio isn't amazing - sound design is okay but lacks really big oomf or impact (which can be said about a lot in this game actually). Wasn't really loud enough with all of the sliders maxed, the directional audio was present but not meaningful. Overall just isn't perfect but it's passable for this type of game.

Counterplay isn't really a thing, a lot of attacks aren't reactable for dodging and some attacks cannot be countered by some characters. If the pacing and cooldown of abilities and attacks were better than maybe this game would be enjoyable, there are some neat ideas for characters but as it stands it comes nowhere near competitive. No on the basis that the fun comes from the (seemingly unintended) absurdity and jank rather than actual enjoyable gameplay.

Unfinished, unbalanced, poor map design, buggy gun play, poor ui.
Like I said it feels unfinished, also feels like it's made by a beginner.
Granted it's free but at the moment it's not very fun and not worth your time.

Likes
-Likeable characters (writing)
-Decent cultural references
-Interesting dystopian setting/world
-Visually appealing

Dislikes
-Clumsy combat
-Sometimes confusing level design (especially for players who don't like to explore)
-Might be better off as an interactive novel which lets you explore too rather than a weird pseudo Super Hot & Super House of Dead Ninjas mashup with story telling and exploration inbetween levels

Things to keep in mind
-Dev doesn't have that much experience
-Small team/few people working on this project
-Political content (minor)
-Environment, charm, story, non-gameplay elements take priority
