Absolutely one of the best single player games I've played in a long time. It reminded me of how fun linear games can be. Great story, great characters and development, great music, fun gameplay (though the combat does get a bit repetitive later on, but it's so smooth) and beautiful graphics. The only bad thing I have to say about this game is the bugs. It had it's fair share, and I did have to force close and restart the game a couple of times because of them. Despite that, I can't say enough good things about it.

I absolutely recommend this game. Does it have some issues? Yes, definitely. Are some of them issues that have been persistent across Tales games for a while that have yet to be fixed or worked on? Yes. But that didn't stop this from being the game I've been most invested in in a long while.

TL;DR: 9/10, Great characters that make the story more than the story, good story, amazing graphics, great characters, decent soundtrack, great gameplay, great characters, bland and boring dungeons but fun levels, and most importantly... great characters.

I really enjoyed the story, although it did have it's shortcomings towards the end of the game (there was a section of the game near the end where it felt like over an hour of non-stop cutscenes and skits), but overall the main story was solid and quite enjoyable. But it wasn't the main story that I was most invested in. It was the characters story arcs and how they all tied in to the main story. All of their interactions, and the characters themselves are what got me so into Tales of Arise. They took a little bit to get there, but once they did, they carried this game for me.

The gameplay was easily the best it's ever been in Tales (in my opinion), with the combat being much more fluid than past titles, and the new artes being quite fun and enjoyable to use. Each character has a distinct playstyle, giving quite a bit of variety to how the game is played.

The dungeons are where the game really falls flat though. I'm not a veteran to the Tales franchise, so I'm not sure if any of the past games before Vesperia had good dungeons, but none of the ones I've played were much more than increasingly long dungeons full of linear pathways and basic exploration (i.e. Side rooms and passageways) that had a few monsters spread throughout. Tales of Arise, unfortunately, was no different. By the time the last dungeon rolled around, I was done. I fought a few times here and there, but most every time I got into combat I started fleeing just so I could get through yet another of the same, bland dungeons. A that point in the game, I was a high enough level to beat the game anyways, so fleeing to get to the end didn't matter. Having said all of that, the main areas that aren't dungeons are more enjoyable to explore, and help to make up for the game's shortcomings.

Soundtrack was pretty good, though I can't say it was anything to write home about. Graphics, on the other hand, were exceptional for a JRPG. They looked stunning, and it was just so enjoyable to just to go around looking at the scenery and exploring some of the more open areas, because it looked so good.

Ultimately, I'd give Tales of Arise a 9/10. Easily my favourite game of the year so far, because the characters make the story, and the story itself is quite good.

This is one of my favourite RPG's ever, so buying it was easy for me. Having said that, if you didn't like it the first time, not enough has changed to make you like it this time. There's some texture changes, but the overall look of the game remains the same. They fixed the levelled zones, which was a big problem for replayability in the original, since going back to an area usually meant encountering enemies way below your level (They would be locked to the level you entered the zone at). The added "Very Hard" difficulty could have been more than just increased enemy health, but at least it adds a difficulty bump to a game that gets pretty easy later on. Plus they're adding a new expansion next year, which I'm rather excited about. There's some QoL changes too that add to the game (increased stash size, better loot generation, HUD options, etc). The DLC was also bundled with it, which is nice for the people that never got around to playing them.
All in all, it's a good improvement (though not groundbreaking) for people that enjoyed the original, and it's definitely worth a shot for people that haven't played it, but it won't change your mind if you didn't like it before, since nothing has changed story or gameplay-wise, and the graphics remain very similar.

It's Halo On PC, which is reason enough to give it a thumbs up. Even if that wasn't enough, it has epic campaigns, deep lore, Reach's graphics still hold up (even almost 10 years later), fun, chaotic gameplay and combat, enough gamemodes for everyone to enjoy, and smooth gunplay.

Moral of the story: Halo is awesome, do yourself a favour and buy it

What an amazing game! There's enough content here to keep you busy for a long time (and over several playthroughs), and that's before you even get into the modding. Great for both singleplayer and co-op. Definitely worth every cent!

Great game, a bit unoptimized, but it is still in early access. The devs have released a lot of new content since I bought it last year, such as a few new items, new UI, more survival effects (such as body temperature and wetness), etc. It could use more weapon variety, and does have a few other cons as well, but it is by far the greatest zombie survival game I've played yet. Definitely worth buying.
