i played the game back when it was on itch and i still love it.
there are a lot of aspects to this game and every one of them just feels straight up fun to mess around with, just messing around with the crap tons of physics objects is a ton of fun to do, even just loading the game up for a couple minutes a day to mess around with ragdolls and stuff is super fun. I honestly have to give credit to the story, its a genuinely interesting story and the feeling of discovering all the game has to offer is an awesome experience, it honestly feels like every time you make progress in the story you are the one discovering something, some locations for story items are a little bit tricky to find but are always satisfying to find.
Really fun game, especially for the price 👍

the thing that ruins this game for me is the SUPER repetitive mission structure, its always the exact same mission sometimes with different target locations, there are about 2 moments in this game that stand out as being genuinely fun and creative set pieces that really give the game flavor. But these moments dont last long before you are thrown back into another samey level with the exact same "steal X items" or "destroy X amount of things" mission structure. I know its a sandbox game and you have to use your tools and your surroundings to your advantage but I cant help but feel bored out of my mind doing the exact same thing so many times.

This game DOES however have some of the best physics and sandbox style gameplay ive ever interacted with, this is the reason I always debate if i leave and positive or negative review on it. When its all said and done I feel like teardown's campaign is ruined by a super repetitive mission structure and samey feeling objectives, i dont like to play "race against the clock" for the billionth time, i like funnie destruction.
