This is a cozy game with a rich story that immediately grips you and gives you lots of reason to work toward building relationships and infrastructure in this world. It is simultaneously charming and comfortable while being deep and philosophical. There is so much to do, but none of it is stressful or really time constrained. You can take as much time as you need to build things and get things going. The characters are compelling and have their own reasons for coming to this area and choosing this life for themselves, and uncovering those reasons is lovely. If you like Stardew Valley, Fields of Mistria, Traveller's Rest, and others of the sort, you'll enjoy this one as well. If you catch it on sale, definitely pick it up!

Early Access Review
This game is quite lovely - you can go at your own pace and still make a little money. You can also go right for it and min/max the bejeebers outta it. Very versatile. Has many of the same comforts of Stardew Valley, but you're an innkeeper instead of a farmer (only). Highly recommend if you loved Stardew Valley and are looking for something a little different.

I would definitely recommend this game! It has more twists than a gnarly tree and there's only one very weak criticism I have. (This next bit might be a tad spoilerish? I tried to be very vague)

I would have appreciated for a certain character to have a conversation with Maddie after seeing two other women kiss. I think this certain character would probably not have seen such a thing before and should have been at least curious/questioning. Other than that, this game is very excellent.

I've just started (4h in), but it's been recommended to me by so many people in my life. Now I know why. I've already cried thrice (once for sadness, twice for other reasons). An almost once per hour cry rate is excellent in my books. :P

This is a great adaptation of the board game to video game. If you love the board game, you'll enjoy this.

It's pretty good so far! I haven't gotten to the harder parts (still in Act 1), but it's fun.

I've been playing Spiderweb Software games since this one was called Exile and just released. I have never been disappointed. Perfect challenge level, rich and robust content, and a lovely sense of humour permeate every game. These are good people doing good things and they deserve much support - you'll get a couple boatloads of fun out of it. ;)

I've played through this game several times. It's funny, challenging, has a good variety of achievements, and is a very pleasant way to spend a few hours.

Spiderweb Software games are always gold. This is no exception. It has some notable improvements on past titles as well - the loot system that auto-sells "precious" stuff and turns it into gold is awesome. Keeps the bag neat and trim. I love the way the potions are done as well - you keep the flask, and every time you enter a fort, it gets filled. The story is engaging and full of decision opportunities that I'm sure will affect things later - I've been really sticking hard to a certain character/morality that I want to portray and it helps with the decisions. 10/10 can't wait to play again after this play through to make different decisions!

Let's be real - it's an MMO and, as such, has all the MMO grind. That being said, it fixes a lot of the common complaints with MMOs. Alts are actually pretty easy to level with the Powerpass you get upon completing your first level 50, and the currencies at the top of the screen + some measure of storage are accessible from all alts rather than having to mail your alts money/stuff. The graphics are beautiful, and the story is actually pretty cool, despite being very railroady. The railroading stops at level 50, and the challenge is real and exciting. Overall, a great effort.
