A kind of game like Curse of the Obra Dinn, or Strange Horticulture, where you naturally piece together a complete encyclopedia of information that you need from the world and people around you. You use a mixture of detective work, ruling out options, and comparing use cases to realize which characters mean what, and the game gives you opportunities to concretely confirm your guesses every so often. Ultimately, the game is also about exploring these unique cultures, learning about them and their world views, and helping them to unite and understand one another. This was so much fun that I'm now gonna go looking for other games with a similar play style, just so I can feel like I'm still playing this one.
