Look it may feel clunky and unpolished but end of the day for an early access game from a small indie developer this is quite impressive in what it achieves. The level of thought and depth to all the actions you can do is fantastic.

A lot of people long for Paradox to commit to a modern GS title but until or if that even happens this is probably the closest and best effort of one. If you play EU4 extended timeline mod or Millenium Dawn mod from HOI4, and still long for more depth and realism, this is the perfect game for you. So for the sake of that I think the game deserves more support.

I know it can be a massive grind to unlock ships. But if you only care about unlocking ships for 1 country, you get through them fairly progressively.

Amazing Game! Such a diverse range of content. I love HOI4 but wanted to move to something that's more deeper. Although try and get DLC on sale.

Great game to buy after 6 years of patches and multitude of mods to enhance it.
But seeing how old it is, it's only worth getting for maximum $20 USD.

You may find it overwhelming at first but please push through it. The game is so much fun and has so replay value to offer; and that's not even considering any DLC or the massive modding community that supports it. Plenty of good YouTube tutorial videos to help you out otherwise only gripe I would say is that only buy the DLC on special. Full price for base game is still worth it though.
