Wait to get the DLC there are so may issues caused by installing it from sudo crashes to missing content. The biggest missing content for me is the entire airfield zone, even though I have the DLC it does not appear as a place where start a game. While this is not the first update that resulted in missing/incompatible saves in the survival section the ones in wintermute are still saved.

Fun game its a cross between Civ and Tropico. Each cycle you have a chance to create 4 or 5 cities that you can build out from the citadel. Depending upon where you choose to settle your city will vary upon what resources are available, what possible detriments may happen, or what bonus may be applied. Once the cycle ends all of your cities will be wiped off the map and you start over again.

Once you choose a location you will get a choice of some citizens either humans, beavers, harpies, or lizards. Each of these have their own specialists that need to be taken into account when choosing as some are better in different area and with specific buildings. You also have to take into consideration impatience from the ruler which if it gets to the end of the bar you would have failed that city. In the city you will get choices of building that will be randomized so you will not be able to get all of the building types. This means you need to choose wisely about which ones you will need. There will be a set number of quests given during the city phase which requires you to accomplish different things. Cutting wood which is required to make your city bigger also increase hostility from the forest which will affect the resolve of the citizens. Additionally cutting into glades and glade quests will affect resolve. You will be given choices for boost and more citizens each mini cycle which is heavy rain which has a negative to resolve, then a medium drizzle then a light which drizzle which removes the negative resolve.

You will need to get buns, cogs, and amulets to upgrade the citadel which will make city building easier.

Great game the art is fantastic. I like that its slower paced and lets you do things at your own comfort level, and it require you to find and make the things that you needed. It is also realistic in the sense that food rots, clothing deteriorates, and you get injured. This requires you to collect more food, fix your clothing, and require time and medicine to heal. Healing in some instances like broken ribs will take a long time in game to heal giving you a negative effect until they are healed. Both the sandbox and the missions are fun, the sandbox has stats on a lot of things that you can see during the game as well as after you die.

I enjoy this game, I have not run into the bugs that others have mentioned but there are some I have had none are game breaking. I'm looking forward to seeing how the game will change as it gets completed.

Though they have made some changes to the game its still rather broken, bases dissappear, storage units full of items dissappear, quests cant be completed, weapons break with no way to fix them exept to get ride of the upgrage and reenstall it. If you have been playing for a while forget about all of the progress you have made in quest lines and laungages if theres any form of major update you will have to do it all again. If you put in a bug report don't expect if to be answered, you might get something from another player talking about a mode that could fix the problem but that about it. Bio divercity is still lacking and tentical monster are still plentiful.

With the recent fixes I can now change my post about this game. This is a very fun game, its currently an open sandbox type game, where you can build a base either above or below the waves. There are items you can build to help you get around, from small hand held devices to a full on sub. You can build both indoor and outdoor planters for food. You have to find blue prints to build the items to help you on your path to the deepest parts of the ocean and caves. They are also making a story portion as well, after crashing on the planet you must find out why you crashed, and what has happened to everyone and the planet its self.

This is the game version of the movie Butterfly effect, just with a different story. Good game over all.

Fun game, I like the challenge of it but don't like trying to find my bag once my corps has been eaten in the water.
