Gotta be one of the top 5 games I've played in the last 15 years

It's like if no mans sky had an autistic deformed baby that invented the cure to cancer.

First off, I want to say I started playing the game day one. Day one, it was buggy. Really buggy. Even with the patches, it still has a little left to go. However, technical issues aside, this game is just about the most immersive experience I've had in a video game. Right up there with Half Life Alyx. What can you say when a flat screen game draws you in as much as a VR title?

The issue is the bugs. I swear, every time you're a moment away from complete immersion into this beautiful world, something breaks. It's so heartbreakingly frustrating too, as in terms of narrative, I haven't been this invested in a story in a really really long time. I can't remember the last time I felt that NPCs were real people. You can contribute much of that I suppose to the face tracking technology used for the main characters of the story, as well as the fantastic writing from CDProjectRed. They look, move, and talk just like real people 90% of the time.

This game has its intense action, and I felt it satisfying enough to keep me engaged. However, where the game really shines is the dialogue. I really really enjoyed it, and the writing was so good that I found myself wishing the firefights to be over just so I could resume my conversation with my "employer". If you don't like reading books or watching TV shows, you probably won't like this, because without the storytelling, there's not much there.

The progress of making your way through jobs and upgrading was really satisfying for me, and that's why I completed the campaign so slowly. I think this game does a good job of making you want to explore this world, and the jobs are a part of that.


Do you like banging chicks, shooting scum, and going slowly insane from a long dead rocker? Can you sit through 6 minutes of dialogue while maintaining the ability to listen/respond to the other dude? Do you like stunning environments to test that 3090 and i9 you only use to play Roblox anyway? Then this game is for you.

Great game to incorporate into your workouts. I used it during my wrestling season last year as a post workout and started putting more time into it once quarantine started. The fighters will exploit your weakness and destroy you if you let your guard down. I also use this to help train my short term endurance for sprints and cross country races. It's really just an all in all great physical challenge no matter your athletic capability. You'll slowly watch your punches get stronger and more calculated as you play.

Make the most of it! Throw on some hard rock and put everything you got in for about an hour a day and you'll find your endurance increase on and off the mat.

Fantastic little game to show VR off to friends and family. I hope we get some more maps a features, but the game is a fun one.

I put 27 hours all into the campaign, but mostly because i looked through every tiny corner of the levels. It's a fantastic game with fantastic visuals, and fantastic storytelling. It really feels like you're talking to a person. The ending shot life into my love of half life I haven't felt since HL2 EP2

Story is pretty good but short, gameplay is REALLY fun. I liked sitting on the radio and talking to people. I hope they release some sort of DLC for another story though, sort of like the seasons in twd game. I'd recommend waiting for a sale personally, but I got my money's worth as a walking dead fan.
