probably the most content rich DLC released so far, and the campaign was a blast. loved it

as someone who only plays campaign, the new missions to the german and soviet campaign are amazing and this is definitely one of my favourites

I like giant set piece battles, lots of infantry, tanks and artillery. These battles are where the game shines in my opinion, some of my most favourite missions, mostly from the German campaign but the Soviet and Finnish campaign have a few pointers, namely Absolute Zero, Operation Bustard Hunt and The Citadel for the Soviets, and Through Ice and Fire and The Northern Gambit for the Fins, you wanna know what these missions have in common? They're actually BATTLES! It FEELS so much more intense and engaging with these large battles. I'd go as far as to say that the mission "In Spite of Everything" is some of the MOST FUN and the most engaged I've ever been with an RTS. The German campaign is really just a masterpiece. So maybe you can understand, then why this DLC was dissapointing for me. It's the exact same reason I can't stand the dreaded "stealth" missions in this game either. It's just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring, it's awful, you wander around a mostly empty map with like 8 or so dudes doing chores. Set up this, destroy that, assassinate him, try not to fall asleep, blah blah blah. The DLC has quite a few of these, these chore missions, and I'm struggling through them right now trying to find the good content and I'm starting to think it's not here. Do better next time, I know you can.

the bridge battle was fun though

edit: another reason I chose to give this DLC a negative review is simply the lack of skirmishes, i enjoyed them a lot. they had a lot of replayability and some of them i sunk like 50 hours into. you just straight up didn't put any in this DLC

raghead shooting simulator got an upgrade 10/10
