fantastic atmosphere and art direction! even the ost, while sparse in comparison to most games, does its job perfectly. the interconnected world and very freeform puzzle solving is a treat, and figuring things out with the tools you have feels very rewarding.

highly recommended if you love games all about puzzles and exploration. with a slightly alien/psychedelic feel! the well really goes deep

RIP, really loved this game as a kid. at least i got to be there and mess around with everyone and buy a bunch of cool dragons with free gems before it shut down

incredibly charming little game! it's not terribly long but very fun all thorough, the movement feels pretty good although the jumps can be slightly clunky at first. the art style while adhering to the much more simplistic graphics of N64, still manages to look very pretty! the music is also quite good.

and of course i can't make a review without mentioning that you play as a dragon, which automatically gives it a gold star in my book! and was the reason i was initially interested when i saw some demo footage.

slight talk about "post game" although no story spoilers:

the fact you get to fully explore each area and find secrets in normally inaccessible places after you get all the eggs is also a choice which i really enjoy, and the free flight simply feels great

as a final note though, multiple people (including myself) have had issues with the achievements for either collectibles not activating even when all are collected. if this happens try saving and exiting the game and then re-launching your save, you should get the achievement(s) then. hopefully it gets patched eventually.

















also you didn't hear it from me, but in the ice level once the water is thawed you can take the jester boots outside their designated area by using the underwater tunnel which wont cause them to deactivate like normal, have fun
