So I began this game way back during the rank 1-20 system. The game was something much different. Much simpler, just aircraft at the time I left another popular arcade tank game to play this. It was something so much different and breathed fresh life in a young me. Fast forward to now. The Game has ships, tanks, and the aircraft from previous times just expanded upon exponentially. However it seems as the game expands and grows the developers greed has as well. It's something I think we all feared as a community once we began to see the signs. I'm sure we all hoped it wouldn't get as bad as it has practically forcing the players to buy premium assets such as gold, premium time, and premium vehicles. Albeit having such a mechanic in game to help players progress is not an issue as all games need funding. But it has been exploited to the extreme. Repair costs upwards of what many ftp players make in a single battle, along with the rewards for many objectives and kills being nerfed it causes progress to reach a near stand still.
As a long time player I refuse to continue to add to their greed and the lack of cohesion between the player base and developers. This will end in two ways. The developers reverting the changes and fix the economy, reduce prices of premium, gold, and vehicles. Or the game goes down in history as many have as something that started good and was doing great things to just then be ruined by greed of developers. Gaijin as a long time supporter of War Thunder, please remember with out us. This game wouldn't be anything.

Edit 6/21/2023 So far it seems as if they are listening. They've changed the economy and you actually seem to make rewards.

First match clapped some dudes cheeks from quite some range with a 1911 as a tank crewman waiting for a tank

Good game froze to death :)
