I saw Epstein...

Guys, no kinkshaming, but I wanna give a good recommendation to this game, and dress it up with my own brand of appreciation. If you know what I mean.

This game came initially came out in 1998 and later the Enhanced Edition in late 2012.
In other words, this game is very old, and the graphics and parts of the gameplay reflect that.
Narratively however, to this day Baldur's Gate manages to be one of the most detailed and interesting games around, the story is very engaging and really sucks you in from early on, heavily influenced by the decisions you make, this mystery story can become one of revenge, justice, redemption or just good old hunger for power. It's one of those few games where while sure, you can be the "greatest hero that Baldur's Gate has ever seen" and be loved by all, but you can also be it's gravest villain, or just a guy getting the job done.

You can choose to go at it alone, or with a party of up to 6 total, be it other players online or some of the many incredible available npc companions, all with their own stories, wants and goals which they'll let you know about and in some cases ask you for your help with if they're to be able to stay with you.

You sense the creators' passion for the game and the source material it's based on wherever you go, the dialogue of random npcs talking about their lives changing drastically depending on which town or village you're currently visiting.
References to other parts of the dnd world and it's history.
Your reputation preceding you, changing your playthrough's experiences and opportunities quite a lot depending on what kind of life you're leading.

The game is simply a masterpiece, with tons of replayability and classes to choose from all providing you with unique playstyles and ways of roleplaying your character.
One of my few 10/10s, and a game I will forever cherish.

Absolutely great game that just gets better and better the further you progress.
The combat is a ton of fun.
The story and acting is great.
The maps and overall visuals are stunning.
Lots of side content and exploration.
Just a really good game.

TL;RD: Quite buggy and missing a bunch of standard bf features, but still overall a fun time.

This game has a lot of problems, few and generally meh maps, gunplay that is full of bloom and annoying bullet spread unless you use the like 4 actually useful guns, very few guns overall, a large amount of bugs some of which are quite gamebreaking ,and waay less map destruction than I've come to expect in a bf game.

That being said, there's still a lot of fun to be had here. I've had some of my favorite personal bf moments in this game already and still have plenty of stuff left to try, and unlike most people I do not regret purchasing this game.

Really good game.
Half of it is chill exploration, while the other half is some of the coolest boss and monster fights I've seen.
I can see how some people might get bored in the beginning but after a couple of missions it get's really interesting and soon just very cool.
The story is good with great actors, very good music and a beautiful world.
