Yall should have used that production level trailer for Planetside 2 Escalation. It would make sense and be true to the content of the game. I have no idea where a bastion fleet carrier and that scale of combat ever existed at any point while arena existed. Just weird decisions imo.

If you want the massive scale of a real battlefield then this is the game that everyone should play. It is the largest and most straight forward war simulator as far as I can tell. With an easy to understand territory control system and customizable loadouts. It is everything packed into one. And now with what is coming in the escalation update it truly takes some aspects of an RTS into the realm of outfit leading and squad control. Building your own base adds creativity and additional tools for holding positions. Its truly a game with bits taken from others. Playstyles that collide and create that perfect atmosphere of absolute full scale war. I highly recommend this game regardless of the cert grind many players come to complain about. I play it for the view and being a part of a team the certs come to me in time, just play medic. After 1880 hours I can say its worth sinking your teeth into.

In its very early stages it certainly is looking very polished already. Cant wait for drone building and the combination of the arena editor into the MP demo. That merge will be huge.

Camera controlled steering is horrible for anything other than mechs. Makes using bots a very clunky experience. Performance is not good either as I find there to be many points of massive lag spikes that hinder my ability to play well.

I just revisited this game and its just horrible, what on earth did they do to the aircraft control scheme. It looks and plays dumb, its just stupid!
