As always Randumb Studios knocks it out of the park with a light hearted adventure. The vibes of the game are just getting better with every game they upload. What I thought would be only a 10-20 minute game to play on stream turned into an hour long dissertation of my life. I love this game and this developer and eagerly await Chasing Demons.

If you like creepy this game will be right up your alley. The concept is charmingly simple. There is a level of detail that is incredible in the environment (even though I did break the game once and got stuck behind the generator in the first level). This game was seriously only $5 US??? In short... this game is a great, fun, spooky, and most of all affordable!

The sound track is straight fire! The game play, while not like previous games, is still engaging and fun. A well crafted story and creepy environment. I, as always, can't wait for more content from this group.

Interesting stuff here. Secret word was Grateful. I'm wondering if these are psychology based scenarios according to MDS 5 screening. Whatever is going on here I look forward to playing the 3rd and final chapter. Good Luck.

Really amazing game. Simple and tension. Although once the game had a random crash and had to start from mid point of game breaking the tension. If you like stories and horror this is a good buy.

So.... This game... if it can even be called that... I was gifted this game from.... well... what I thought was a friend of mine and former brother in arms... He said I should play it on stream. He said that the game didn't have the greatest reviews... but me being my dumbass self gave the game a chance.

That was mistake number 1. While the game itself has some interesting ideas and mechanics (and I use the word mechanics very loosely since mechanics normally work.) these ideas however are a hodgepodge of suffering. The first thirty minutes of the stream were moderately chilling. However after the game actually decided it was time to be scary it decided to throw random non-sense and insanity testing to the limit. I tried desperately to like this game... after three hours of agonizing game play, stuttering frames, terrible puzzles (and I use the term loosely) I finally raged and decided to quit. The game is chalk full of bugs.

Positives:
Ambient sound is very good and provides an actually spooky environment.

Negatives:
This travesty was created at all.

Re-review of game:
Dead By Daylight is meant to be a survival horror game. 4 survivors are trying to escape the hunting grounds of a Killer. Can you survive?

So I've spent alot of time on this game. I both love it and I hate it at the same time. The development team, I think, want this game to succeed. And they seem to put out patches as soon as they can, if a little too hasty at times. While I understand bugs will run plenty this latest patch is punishing experienced Survivors with incredibly long wait times if they aren't surviving with friends. I started typing this review 5 minutes after I hit the ready button and am still looking for a game. The overall feel of the community has alot of toxicity. That I can't fault the development team for... But why the rank system? They think they might implement season rewards for getting to Rank 1 in a month. I think if they get rid of ranks it would make a less toxic community right now.

Game Balances are always getting skewwed leaning to one side or the other with each patch. So why do I still play this game you ask? At this time I hope my dedication will pay off in the long run. There are times where the development team have the game running wonderfully. And even better when I play against a good opponent that actually has manners. I've had several experiences where in post game chat lobby I compliment the killer for something that happened and they compliment the players for something that happened in game and I'm smiling from ear to ear with being able to share the joys and laughs from the match with the killer. Because at the end of it we are all playing the same game for the same reason hopefully. TO HAVE FUN!

Sadly I still can't fully recommend the game in its current state.

Alright my review,

I've spent 360 hours on this game. The concept itself is great and it's a ton of fun... when it's working correctly. I main as a survivor and moonlight as a killer. The game during my first 50 hours was a bit unforgiving. Learning the game mechanics and unfortunately leveling up Dwight (Perhaps the worst perk set ever). Later on my friends and I would lobby up together. During the next 150 hours it was fun. The balancing between characters was a bit skewwed but atleast it was playable. Both sides of the playing field have their Over Powered moments, which the dev's keep trying to balance out and make a fair playing field. However, that being said leads us to the most recent patch. Many new players think the developers are so in-tune with their game because they had 5 patches come out on Friday... That is not the case. The development team overshot their abilities and decided to have a free weekend the day after a major add-on to the game was release. Many bugs, glitches, and problems arose from this. If the dev's really cared about the game they would have not had free weekend after the patch. Instead opting for showing what the game was like and dangling the new chapter to tantalize potential buyers. But they broke so many game mechanics and left it over the weekend for seasoned survivors to suffer and seasoned killers to feel guilty about some kills they themselves know they should not have received.

Overall I love this game but the way it has been going over the weekend I'm hesitant to continue playing this game.

The game starts off pretty fun... But be prepared for frustrations galore... especially if you are going to unlock all the stages. I just finished off the bencalypse run through. I wanted to die... I would recommend this game for those looking for a challenge. As a casual game... Probably not.

Early Access Review
This game is wonderful. The visuals are stunning! The controls (although a bit clunky at times) are pretty fluid. What strikes me most is the quality of sound. From small creaks to gigantic crashes, this game really draws you into it. The creators did a wonderful job. I cannot wait till the full product is released. This game is amazing and I can't wait for it's conclusion!!!

Edit: I forgot to mention the scares. They aren't constant jump scares. They build you up. Stuck in a room? Are you really? Keep looking around... WTF WAS THAT!! The game really sucks you in questioning if something in your environment changed (normally for the worse).

While not a completely new concept, this game uses echo location as means of a map generator. It gives lots of fun puzzles (and some of absolute terror) and even has additional levels after you complete the main walk through. It's definitely worth the 2 dollars I spent.
