I very much enjoyed this game. The theme of the game putting you as a learning AI is a unique approach and they did a great job at selling that perspective. The character development was believable enough to have me very invested in the outcome not only of myself the AI, but the other characters in the story.

This game excites me for the future games by this developer and I would even like to see a possible Observation 2 if they can write a continuation from the ending point of this one.

this story is an emotional gold mine. I have to say as a writer I am almost never surprised or taken aback during any plot-line. I am not particularly fond of the finality in the ending, but I for sure have been emotionally train-wrecked, to which I am sure is the authors intended outcome.

The character development was very well written, especially considering the particular psychological conditions & idiocyncrasies that both main characters have.

Simply amazing! Now Im going to find something to pull me out of this emotional black hole. lol

I have played a great many games in my life, but i can say with absolute certainty that "Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice" is the best game I have had the privilege of playing. This game not only contains an intriguing plot, interesting and sometimes difficult puzzles, relatable characters, mysteries and questions the player simply must find the answer to, but it also denies the player from knowing what will happen next or happen in the end until the moment arrives.

Hellblade takes the player through a journey that is riveting. it does this while maintaining fantastic combat mechanics that are fast paced and make the player feel like skilled warrior, but will beat the hell out of you if you're not careful. The world and environment are as beautiful and detailed as the best of those ive seen.

The game is without a HUD, active skills, loot, experience, or anything that would make it feel like a game. Nothing that would detract from the experience exists in this world. When you play Hellblade you dont play a game, you dont rush arround gathering experience so you can get stronger, you dont skip past cutscenes so you can hurry to the next secret chest to find a better piece of equipment, and you dont metagame by considering the best possible way to build your character.... In hellblade you plunge into a world and you exist within it.

Hellblade is not simply a game, Hellblade is an experience.

My only point of sadness is that there isnt a second title for me to immediately jump into.
