Do I like this game? Yes. However is it good? No.
This game is almost unplayable in its current state. Yeah its fun to loot around in a good atmospheric game but after that, everythings so bland. It had the potential to be one of the best survival games ever and failed tremendously. The PVP is probably the worst I've ever experienced in any game. And I get it, you may be playing this for the survival feel. But unless you're playing in an empty server you may run into one person after playing for 10 hours and get shot from a bush. How fun is that? Not very. And the base building is not good at all. They took out flying bases and now you just see spammed pillars everywhere. Even if you manage to find fun in the game, you wont have that for long. My 400+ hours don't seem like much to others but trust me I've played enough to say dont buy this game. 3/10.

Overall thoughts and opininons.
I bought the in the spring of 2013. I was unable to run it past 15 frames but I still had the time of my life. I've dropped this game more than once and uninstalled a few times. I even upgraded my PC solely for DayZ. I've played over 1600 hours and would not take that back. Its overall a good game regardless of what the devs have taken from us and broken constantly. There were updates that weren't even playable. And after hundreds of hours I still came back. You'll never get the feeling you got when you first played the game. It was like christmas morning when you were a kid. And it was amazing learning the map and trying to survive. The reason the game has such bad reviews is because all of the people with less than 100 hours complaining they got shot or the games not finished. Of course its not finished. If it was why would you buy it in its current state anyway? They've added tons of new things even though they've taken most out, they're planning to bring them back in the future updates. Now with modding support this game has the potential it originally did on the initial release on December 16, 2013. If you're reading this, don't listen to what the "noobs" are complaining about because they have no idea how to actually play. I'd reccomend buying the game in its current state.
