i really like political science and hammers. very into hammers. oh and cars. and sometimes taking hikes in rural adirondack villages.

a quick ode to hammers:

to seed a nail on empty wood
my hammer does just what it should
bout one foot long and one inch thick
strung bout my belt ill draw her quick

and if you ever had a doubt
my hammers lasted many bouts
to cave in skulls or smash a nail
that two forked head will sure prevail

just to hear that solid ring
bout twice a night my hammer swings
against the wall or against the floor
my downstairs neighbors are now sore
of thumps and bumps throughout the night
but they keep quiet without a fight
for they know not to mess around
or i will swing my hammer down
