I finally had the time to finish this mod after after 1 month. But I must say, the mod is great! The story was good, the environments were great and the visuals were fantastic, especially the Spire.

I do have a couple of complaints as well. The plot points were mostly copied straight from Portal 2, and many of the sequences were the same (i.e. the part where you escape with Conley and the wall opens up, you go to the lower levels mid game and your helper betrays you halfway through the game). Also many of the jokes were the same as in Portal 2 (i.e. the brain damage jokes).

And my biggest problem; the puzzles. Or more accurately, the lack there of. The first and last puzzles of the mod were good, but especially the puzzles mid way were really underwhelming. One of the puzzles was literally a diversity vent, repulsion gel and a button! The new testing mechanics were good, but many of them went terribly underused. Portal is at it's core a puzzle series, so if the puzzles are bad it really hurts the experience.

Overall, I'd say a 7/10. The visuals and the environment were great, but the borrowed plot points, reused jokes and especially the lack of proper puzzles hurt the experience.

An brilliant and extremly challenging game. The puzzles take some time to solve but solving them makes you feel like a genius.

It may be old but it's still a brilliant game, could play this game for days.

A very good game, I recommend if you like puzzles. One of my favorite games of all time!
