My wife and I have been playing this for 3 days and here's what happened:

In comparison to Frostpunk 1:

- We both have no idea who's cold
- We both have no idea when the scouts reach their destination while tunnel visioning other 20 (example) other tasks
- We let the generator reach 100% causing 200+ people to die (accidentally) and in frostpunk 1 it would warn us at 80%
- We dont know when everything is cold, Frostpunk 1 we had thermometer rates of everything, idk why they removed it, so we dont know when people are cold till its too late. On top of that, Frostpunk 1 would have a simple above each building we built saying its COLD AF so we'd increase heat, Frostpunk 2 will not tell you that at all.
- Workforce is stacked with automitons and will not separate from human workforce causing confusion as to why human-work force is still dying when you have "mechanic" workforce, sure it needs maintenance but when my scouts found automatons it provided 1200 workfoce....... 600 people (aka 600 workforce) still died. WTF!
- Crime, it will not tell you when crime is extremely high before it too late, I built watch towers in everything but prefabs were an issue so i did everything i could to research and produce them in the delay/weekly basis but everything required SOMETHING!
- Disease, ive killed over 100s of people with disease that reason being it would be too late to create a hospital, Frostpunk 1 would be able to make a quick tent hospital but in frostpunk 2, you need an expanded district and you need to research the hospital. Keep in mind you need to create multiple housing districts WHICH IDK WHY I NEED WORKFORCE TO BE IN IT PRIOR SINCE ITS HOUSES, after that you need materials to make watchtowers + hospitals + etc, so you need a lot of materials to expand which is kind of annoying cause you also build upgrades like steam hubs etc.
- Crime rate is increased due to good? The explanation in the totarial was too confusing that when we searched for goods it was too late, our crime rate was extremely high.
- Food, ive killed a lot of people (accidentally) due to starvation

Pros:
- Graphics amazing! (except in frostpunk 1 you get to see the actual workers getting to your queue work load, Frostpunk 2... well you see highly animated lines)
- Expedition, AMAZING UPDATE!
(Note: but i still hate how I dont know when my expedition reaches its destination (0 sound effect) and I hate that I cant see HOW MANY EXPEDITION PEOPLE I HAVE AVAILABLE. So I have to click each undiscovered expedition to see if im able to send people)
- Passing laws, I LOVE IT, it mimics what happens with a majority of the business area of the concept "you scratch my back, I scratch yours" but you'd scratch more if you want something you REALLY want.

Frostpunk 1 has a heavy love in our hearts that will forever live next to the warmth of the generator, but Frostpunk 2 will not be next to it. I'm trying so hard to love it but the cons are too great that I wont be recommending it to my friend unfortunately. I kind also hate that they wanted to be nominated in the game awards when the game wasnt fully out yet, id rather nominate frostpunk 1 still. I hope the new mod release is capable of producing a frostpunk 1 mod, based on the list above. In conclusion, we'll still try to beat this game, some will say its easy, but I felt the vibe of civilization level where im overwhelmed with information on top of my 9-5 job. Hope this was useful to all of you and I hope this company hears us cause i want this company to succeed so that maybe we can see an update where we might see another amazing game like Frostpunk 1.

Saw the gameplay by Lowko, aka Emperor Lowko, and I loved it! It reminded me of the days I played Civilization 5 with my brother, however I'd say Frostpunk is BY FAR WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY BETTER!
- Graphics 10/10
- Music 11/10
- Story 10/10

After playing it for 8+ hours, played 4+ hours straight the moment I bought it cause I was so into it. I did mess up a few times but thats the beauty of it. I wouldnt consider this a repetitive game, since multiple errors will make you lose everything so you'll have to change the way you think and do things, no matter the cost (literally). And achieving those quests to where you have a specific day and time to finish, especially when its close calls it feels sooo good.
