The only scary thing in this game is the players you face... that and Scratched Mirror Myers.

It does have a toxic, but noting that would drive you away. It's just people expressing their opinions on how you should play, which for the most part you should ignore. I like it because it feels like the perfect multiplayer game for a single player. Playing killer is really fun.

If you do give it a try, Oni, Myers, and Singularity are really fun and fair to play.

I would say if you like games for their gameplay you would like this game, but honestly there are games out there with better gameplay. My main problem is player expression. Unlike so many other games you are stuck with how your hero came out of the box. The progression in this game is 100% cosmetic. So many other games, other multiplayer games have player progression that can change the way you play the character. New effects, weapons, whatever. I have come to terms that we were probably not going to get the skill trees, but ANYTHING would make some of the 8 year old heroes feel fresh.

And everything else is subpar at best. The skin prices are criminal, and often times REALLY not worth it. I paid for the PvE, and after a couple of games I stopped caring, especially since I knew the story wouldn't continue until the next few months. The in-game missions were also nothing too spectacular. The coolest mission was the one we saw at the 2018 Blizzcon. And that's the first mission. The other two were less memorable, even the one were you fought a giant robot. Sorry, "fought", you defend a turret that shoots him a couple times.

And on a smaller note, the community that has been here for a while is hard to get along with at the worst of times, the worst of times being anytime after October of 2022. If your new and you join your going to get a mixture of people that expect you to already have a plan and people that just want to blow off steam after work. This game isn't made for the people in the latter. Which is fine, but it alienates a bunch of people that want to casually enjoy a game, but you can't. Even in the games dedicated Quickplay/Casual section your going to meet tryhards.

I hope this review becomes outdated, I hope this game gets better and PvE becomes something to admire insead of it just being a footnote to the PvP. I am saying not recommending this game because I'm tired of playing the same game that doesn't have variety in the heroes I once enjoyed. But if your looking for something to play, go on ahead it's free.

If you thought Morrowind was too confusing, and Skyrim was too boring, this game is for youuu....

These people made my childhood with the free flash games. I owe them the $15 for all the fun times I had.

Even though I do have a soft spot for Borderlands 1, Borderlands 2 is objectively the better game. Borderlands 2 has better guns, more varied locations, and clear story.
