Holiday Star is less choice-based than the first game, and more a straightforward story than a branching dating sim.
Other than that, it's the same good stuff - absurd situations, bird puns, surprisingly dark worldbuilding and lots of FEELS about your bird boyfriends that punch you right in the stomach.
