The first game is good, but this one is top tier

Similar gameplay to A Story About My Uncle, however it has a much greater focus on the story and environment over A Story About My Uncle which I feel focuses more on speed running. But don't think this game doesn't have areas that feel sick to race through, because it does and a fair few! Honestly, this game has so many things, its got beautiful environments, interesting and pretty unique story, cool areas to explore, good gameplay and controls, I definitly recommend!

Really enjoyable game, both the platforming elements and combat are really satisfying and have quite a lot of depth to them. The level design also really complements these mechanics most of the time.

The game is open world, but it guides you along the story by gradually giving you abilities that let you get to new areas of the map. You're incentivised to go back to areas you have visited, once you have new abilities, to explore parts that you couldn't previously reach and there is often collectables/upgrades that you can get there.

This game mixes together platforming and puzzles really well, as you have to cut, pull, push and propel rocks to create or clear pathways for you to come closer to retrieving your grandpa's pants. There are lots of hidden areas and collectables to find plus some amusing dialogue, which all come together to make this a great buy.

Great game, the mechanics are solid, the voice acting is great and the story is also a nice thing to have as well. The only negatives I have about this game is the poor NPC animations and texturing.

Overall definitely worth playing.

Mordhau 2 when?

This game started off amazingly from a horror perspective, however I found that after being introduced to the monsters in the game, "The Grandchildren", the horror quickly fell off as you can easily outrun them you also get a device that blasts them away from you about half way into the game this reduces the intensity of encounters as I did not feel like I was under much threat from them. However this does not mean the game is bad in all aspects. I enjoyed running through the levels, avoiding enemies and think this game could definitley be fun to try to speed run. I also found the backstory to the game interesting and quite unique (the backstory is expanded on by notes you can pick up, however their placement could be better as they are often in the middle of many "Grandchildren" which means you can't read them straight away, although you can go into the main menu and read them). Even though I found the story interesting, after completing the game I still did not fully understand what was going on, but it could be that it is explained further in the other episodes, which I do not have.

In all this game has clearly had a lot of work put into it, however from a horror standpoint it did not work for me. It plays more like a semi-fast paced action game rather than a horror game, especially towards the end. I did not mind this and found it fun to play anyway, but 1 thing to consider is buying it on sale as it offers only a short play time.
