If you value your time, money and sanity, please go play something else, preferably from a company that won't literally steal your money away from you. Their market practices are borderline illegal, constantly screwing over the customer, with little to no regard for your happiness or satisfaction.

The game itself is comprehensive in regards to vehicles, but locks most of said vehicles behind horrible paywalls ( Such as packs that cost up to 60€ ) or countless DAYS of grinding, all thanks to the completely broken economy of the game (Which, of course, can be MOSTLY bypassed by buying their premium currency). The gamemodes of this game are pretty fun, being split into categories for each type of vehicles (Planes, Tanks, Ships), although some gamemodes do have a mix of these 3 categories.

The players of this game vary quite a lot, as it happens in most games with such a comprehensive community. Playing this game for as long as I have (My playtime on steam isn't the real amount of time I spent in the game, I prefer using the launcher from their website, thus the total playtime on my account is actually around 2 weeks in total spent in matches) I've seen pretty much every kind of player there is. From friendly people who will help you succeed to horrible people that take pleasure in the pain of others and even some blind people that protect the company when issues with the way it does things are pointed out, such as unfair repair costs for vehicles ( Gaijin like to balance the vehicles in this game by making the players of said vehicle pay more money when it is destroyed in battle, to the point where one bad match can outweigh 5 good matches in terms of money earned/money lost ).

The periodic events only really reward players that spent hours upon hours playing on every day of the event, usually with stuff to keep you playing the game some more. The free battlepass is decent ( Compared to other games ), but still lacks quite a bit in comparison to the paid one.

I truly believe that this game has a lot of potential for a free-to-play game, and micro transactions are expected from such games, but this level of greediness from the company destroys any hope of long-term success. The players that realize how greedy the company actually is early in the game probably didn't lose much. Players such as myself ( With only an average playtime ) may slightly suffer from the time lost. The players that spent the last few years constantly playing this game and that have spent actual money on the game suffer the most, and I can only feel sorry for them.

The way I see it, this game still has a few years to live, seeing as it is updated constantly, but if the company behind it doesn't make some radical changes in the way they go about things, both regarding balancing and expanding the game AND the way they like to screw over the players by blaming their mistakes on the community, this game will be forgotten about the moment a similar game with a better company behind it comes around.
