i want to sit here and tell you that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is a good game, its not.

1. brain dead ai
2. overuse of mutants (bloodsucker's) every cache every minor stash has one that spawn behind you stuns you then rushes you.
3. the autocover system auto moves your head and aim
4. who the ♥♥♥♥ decided to bind lean to Z and C
5. while the prices of repairs have been made slightly less your still better off just getting new armor from stashes and using them till they break even into the late game
6. a life 2 is either not in the game or is bugged so badly that the random encounters from fallout 4 feel well placed in comparison

And the final nail in the coffin is unreal engine 5 between the auto eye adjustment ,nanite and lumen this game runs like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, a 7800x3d, 64gbs of ddr5 and a 4070 running dlss barely gets above 60 fps.

i do not believe the devs have the technical know how to either get this game working or care about it.

TLDR;
in conclussion in its current state and most likely end state this game is inferior in every way to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl from 14 years ago.

is it better then the base game yes but not by much its the worse of fallout 4 mind numbing and a fetch quest the worst of the worst cant believe this got any hype.

saber interactive bought the game recently much like other games example spintires.

spintires became mudrunner, snowrunner and soon to be Expeditions: A MudRunner Game.
monetization is the goal, game has horrid performance? crashes every hour?
oh well here's another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ season pass.

Snowrunner has 11 seasons.
Mudrunner only has 1 paid dlc currently (mudrunner itself is only 4$) its also appears to have sold very poorly

if you want to see where this game is going just look at similar games that they've bought out.

I don't trust the dev team currently working on this game in one update they destroyed the UI and made the game run worse then when it entered Early Access and quite frankly i think that says enough.

final words ♥♥♥♥ SABER INTERACTIVE.

if you've played fallout 4 you've already played this, in some respects it even worse then fallout 4.
here are some examples of systems done worse:
1. weapon mods are worse attachments cannot be moved form one gun to another.
2. no melee weapon mods so you get hard capped on damage on normal round level 30.
3. you found a communications outpost congrats its same one you'll see on every planet and every system.
4. levels are now gatekeeped by challenges not horrible at the start but gets really bad at level 3 of the skill
5. the economy your gun might be valued at 15k but you'll only get 5k most merchants might have at most 10k

that covers a lot of the common systems you'll be interacting with

got bored writing this so im gonna go play morrowind.

some of this might have changed since the first part of this review occurred but its taken a year for basic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ features like an actual map.

game needs multiple mods right now just to have a functional ui,
so i say yet again go play Morrowind the ui is more functional out of the box then this game.

♥♥♥♥ grind that makes ya lose connection with reality

hey hey people.

the good part about this game is the feeling of acomishment watching your factory assemble itself is amazing

some of these blocks have been available and free on the steam workshop on top of that of these are locked behind a paywall and what should be a free update i got just so i could down vote.

i wish i got this ♥♥♥♥ for free then it would have only been the way for me to feel like i didnt lose time and money...

after almost 4 years and having played this game recently (before organic ship update)
game is near being what its should have been on release, but this shouldn't have taken this long
truth be told no mans sky is NOW A GAME, its not worth the 60 or even 30 dollars if you can get for maybe 5 bucks in a couple of years when the game is finished and not a early access prototype.
