I have over 600 hours in DL1 on my Xbox and PC which hopefully shows how much I loved the game. I REALLY hoped DL2 would come out great and I even pushed past my doubts from some parts of the game play trailers because of Techlands amazing work ethic. However, this game disappointed me so badly, not because it wasn't good, but because it wasn't nearly as great as it could've been.

I'm going to start with the good since I have a lot of bad things to say...
- The parkour is mostly better than DL1's.
- The evolving music is awesome (If only there were more songs).
- The world is fine tuned for parkour with verticallity never seen in DL1.
- The city is beautiful, even if you preferred the first games stylistic choices better like me.
- Human vs human combat is FAR better than in DL1.
- Hakkon is pretty chill.
- The grappling hook is an actual grappling hook now.
And that is everything that is good enough to note.

For the bad, so much bad...
- Techland took a big step back on easter eggs (They were one of the best parts of DL1 for me).
- The side-quests were not memorable at all for me. Remember if momma aint happy, nobody happy or that one guy who wanted to build a wall of fire? Well none of the quests will reach that level of funny.
- Many missing features from the trailer such as falling into a dark zone and more importantly ZOMBIES CAN't GRAB YOU WHILE YOU CLIMB!!! Why did you show us that in the trailer just to blue ball everyone like that.
- The special infected are a joke, in fact all of the zombies in this entry are.
- Chases are both extremely easy to avoid altogether and to escape from.
- The story is awful. Lawan is terribly written, Frank is terribly written, almost everyone excluding a handful of people are terrible written.
- One of the major factions is just bad with no gray area making it impossible to side with them. I'll leave that for you to figure out if you buy this game.
- Dark hollows and forsaken stores have loot not worth going in for and have copy-pasted/very slightly changed interiors.
- The looting as a whole is less interesting '
- The UI is SOOOO abrasive its unbearable and you cant just turn it off or you wont see crucial information.
- Upgrading blueprints is grindy and lame. The old system where there were just slightly varied blueprint all over the map was far better.
- YOU CANT HIT THE PROPANE TANK AND THEN PICK IT UP! It also doesn't go nearly as far. How am I supposed to play hot potato with friends now?
- Sliding makes you feel sticky as you slow down before speeding up. How does that make sense?
- The protagonist just doesn't make the mark like Crane did.
- There are no guns or cars. Thing is we can see a car at one point so its clear the only reason we cant use them is because the developers didn't have the time for it. The reason there are no guns is that there are no bullets. Why the hell has no one started producing handmade or ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bullets?
- The gameplay trailer spoiled a massive plot point.
I'm not even out of complaints, but I think you get the point errr points.

DL2 gets a 7/10 which is not good enough for my or your time as there are to many great games waiting to be played and not enough free time for all of us.
