Seriously IO? You go from working with an idol in the industry like Sean Bean to working with a guy who beats the ♥♥♥♥ outta elderly in bars. Cant support this direction at all. Am gunna pirate all DLC going forward. No matter what I refuse for a cent of my money to go to that twit.

Editing my review for release: Basically game is still unfun. I am constantly pulled out of the immersion by either A) how simplistic some aspects of the game are, or B) THE CONSTANT STUTTERING I HAD ISSUES WITH LITERALLY A YEAR AGO. I see almost no changes in gameplay or performance so it seems like develoment literally just...stopped. Every corner you turn is a stutter, every quick head turn while sprinting, every map tile you cross, so on and so forth. Conversations are also either a "F*** you im not gunna tell you anything unless you give me money" or "here is every life detail about your suspect". I also even tried to start modding and creating my own custom dialogue pack to fix the second and the modding tools released are more convoluted then freaking assembly. After a 20-hour weekend binge trying to learn it I finally gave up. Just like with this game. I wish I could get a refund but oh well. Really disheartening since I originally pirated the game and liked the concept so much I bought it to support the dev (Im in the lowest tax bracket dont judge)

Leaving a negative view for the terrible optimization in this game. Theres no reason I should be getting 40 fps with dips into 20's on a 4070 super with DLSS on. Been collecting dust in my library after hours of pirated gameplay because the game runs like butt. Would love to provide feedback and I dont think its unreasonable to make sure your game runs well before releasing new content. Will change to positive when fixed because the games awesome.

Currently an unplayable mess. Doesnt go for 10 seconds without an unplayable stutter that drops fps to single digits.
Update: I think the latest nvidia driver did wonders for this game. With frame gen getting 170 in some areas. Hardly any stutters and no game breaking issues.

This game has an incredible amount of hidden shortcuts that make it incredibly frustrating to learn your character. In order to do an input reliably you need to often rely on its own shortcut just so you don't accidentally do a shortcut for another input. For example if you ever input a forward motion before a QCB on Luke it will always result in a DP.

Theres also no in-game resource that displays these shortcuts anywhere. Wish I knew this before buying the game. Didn't know I had to meta-analyze the way I did inputs on top of learning the game.
