Split/Second is an game that was very innovative for arcade racing genre at the time, where you can trigger explosions to wreck your opponents's cars or as a way to completely change the race's layout. The environments still looks pretty years later, and some of them are very creative: You literally can drive around an power plant and explode everything around it, or destroy your enemy vehicles by activating a plane crash in an airport. It's also impressive how Disney was okay with this, lol.

The key to succeed in this game, in order to win normal races, is knowing how to time your power plays correctly. However, some of the AI like to rubberband alot, and that can be frustating, since there's nothing like a nitrous bar to recover from being overtaken. However, even with this issue this is still something very fun to play.

Now for commenting the actual quality of the PC port - It's unfortunately locked at 30 FPS, but I am fine with that since the game is optimized enough, and it's from over a decade ago. DLC from the console version is missing and online multiplayer is shutdown, but you can play through LAN and Splitscreen. Some of the negative aspects in this port can be solved with mods, but note that I have not tested it myself.

Celeste is an fantastic game. It's a platformer with very accessible movements and controls, with very challenging obstacles and a great story.

Compared to other platformers, what made it special to me is that this game is not hard for the sake of being difficult. It incetives you to learn from your mistakes and reach the objective, without causing a lot of stress. You are going to die alot, but the respawn is almost instant, there's checkpoints to help you and an optional Assist Mode if you're struggling with the game alot.

The game has also a great story about overcoming mental health issues and depression, but i can't say alot about it with without spoiling it. However, it's definitely something that really blends in with the game.

In the visual aspects, the pixelated graphics looks great and makes good use of colors. The original soundtrack composed by Lena Raine sounds amazing, and the B-side songs are a banger.

There is a lot of potential of replayablity, as you can always replay the chapters to find the strawberries and collectibles you have missed easily via the game's menu, an additional free chapter (Farewell), and optional levels (the B-sides) that are harder than the normal levels.

In my opinion, it's definitely something that is worth getting - even when not on sale, because it's a game that will be an memorable experience for lots of people.

Journey is an amazing experience. The visuals of this mysterious world that you explore are phenomenal, and the orchestral music in this game is really great - it's the combination of these two things that makes this game really beautiful.

Just to note, you might encounter a random player during your journey on the game; and you can't communicate with them via text chat or voice chat - but with a "ping" system. And the game is made to be perfectly playable with that circumstances, resulting in a memorable co-op experience.

It's a game which is really worth experiencing, despite being short (it's around 1-2 hours long.) However, there is a potential for replayability aswell, specially with the use of achievements.

Castle Crashers is a fun indie game. It's a hack-and-slash that is very enjoyable with friends. The gameplay is simple but works well, the only negative i can think of is that you should expect lots of button mashing here and there. It's relatively short, but there's a lot of characters, pets, and a few challenging achievements that you can unlock.

I think what made this game iconic/memorable was the unique art style from Behemoth, the soundtrack and all the funky boss battles in this game. Definitely an indie classic.

DiRT Rally is an truly challenging rally simulator. This is Codemasters's first take on doing a realistic rally simulator IIRC, and it is done pretty well. This game will be pretty rough on the first time you're playing it, but once you get the hang of the cars and handling, it will be a superb experience.

It has a good car list for a rally game, and haves three game modes: Rally, Rallycross and Pikes Peak. There are 70 different tracks to play with. You will get familiar with the game's locations, but i swear, all the tracks feel different on each car you drive.

Overall, it's a pretty good rally simulator. It also has great optimization - it runs great on integrated GPUs, sure the game will not look that good, but it's impressive how they optimized the game to run on a good framerate with low end computers.

Just Cause 2 MP is not populated as it used to be back in 2013, but you still can find servers with a reasonable amount of people during the weekends, very fun mod. However i recommend playing the singleplayer game before playing this, just to be familiar with the game's controls and mechanics.

Oneshot is now one of my favorite games ever, and I can say it's a masterpiece of an indie game. It has an amazing story, lovable characters, and a heartwarming OST. This game is a memorable experience, highly recommend it.

Decided to replay this rollercoaster of a game because a long time ago i didn't understand it at all.

This game is an walking simulator and has no goals and objectives, but it tells a story about the person Coda, where Davey narrates as you play his games. I can't really say alot about this game, either it will just be spoiling the story. But well, i can say it's worth buying.
