This game has about 12 hours of campaign on the hardest difficulty. Probably about 3 hours on easy. The campaign is mid, but has one or two cool parts or levels.

There's a lot of PvE CO-OP if you want to play every class, but there are only 6 missions and they get stale after the third time playing them. I've done about 30 different missions and I am only level 18 on my heavy class.

The PvP is mid. There is no skillbased matchmaking, and you can be queued against all level 20+ with the best weapons, and your team can all have level 1-10's. There are only 3-4 PvP maps, and only 3 game modes (hardpoint, dominiation, and team death match). The best thing about the PvP is that some classes have counters against other. Example the heavy has a minigun, and the classes that counter are the bulwark (which has a shield), and the assault which can close the distance. It also takes forever to level up in PvP. I have about 15 hours in PvP and only level 8 out of 25.

The worse part of this game is the servers, both PvE, campaign, and PvP. Multiple times I have not been able to even find a game solo, or queued with a friend. I have been repeatedly kicked out, or my friends have in PvE AND the campaign. This means that you lose out on XP, you lose all your medkits, upgrade points, and relic (items that revive you), and you rejoin with nothing because of their servers.

You can also only play with three people in all game modes, even though PvP can have teams of 6 players, you can still only queue with 3 so screw your friends if you have more than 3.

Re-reviewed 09/25/2024: As much as I love this game, the game is practically dead now. There are currently 300 people playing the game. It take forever to find other players in PvP. If you are going to play PvE thats different but the PvE is very short story.

Additionally, there are mostly bots on the teams, and the NPC/AI isn't that great.

Sony is the publisher, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks. This game is awesome though, but im sure sony will find a way to make everyone hate on the game again.

Great game! Similar to gunfire reborn. Took about 22 hours to beat with a Duo partner. We completed every difficulty, with every unlockable character. Would recommend to play solo, but even better with a friend.

If you love pokemon, and ark, youll love this game. The only issue with it are the servers. Also this game isnt finished yet, and a lot of the bosses, and biome are not in the game. Some biomes are just completely empty with no pals, or loot.

The devs need to layered the world. Similar to how bases and other players work in Fallout 76.
I would like to see more people roaming around the map, and even with 32 players, I rarely run into others.

Highly recommend but please play Ori and the Blind Forest first, this is a sequel to that game. This game highly focuses on combat, unlike Blind Forest. Feels like a proper sequel, and more like hollow knight.

Yeah, no this game isn't it. Gameplay is alright, but its just a dead game. Theres basically no one playing it on steam, and it takes forever to find other players to play with.

Love hate relationship with this game. The gameplay is amazing, the story is great, and the bosses are awesome. Just felt like the game was lacking content at launch, and the way the game is designed it very VERY grindy by just replaying the same 3 worlds over and over and over and over etc. I know DLC's will come, and add more content.

I wanted to like this game, but just ended up losing interest after 2 hours.

Fun game with friends, without friends not so much.
